Annie I agree everyone should have the vaccination for the good of all (unless instructed not to do so by a doctor)
The problem it seems is going to be that those who have not had the vaccination will provide a reservoir for the virus giving it the opportunity to mutate to something worse eg a vaccine resistant variant and that will make it very difficult to get out of this mess any time soon :-(.
The fewer people who are vaccinated, the more chance there is a dangerous mutation emerging .
So have I Annie, and I will continue to do so, not this one just yet thoughā¦You more than anybody else should know that this vaccine is totally different to any vaccine that has gone beforeā¦
Youāre not a goner from covid either Annie, and the vaccine might win this battle, but the war against covid is not over yet, by a long chalk. As long as figures in Europe are beginning to rise again, and we are allowing travel, we will never be rid of this virus. And as the virus mutates into different strains and new vaccines are required, how many vaccines are you prepared to take before you say āEnough is enoughāā¦?
And have you considered the cumulative effects of the vaccines? Itās no good people being smug and saying āWell Iām alright, I havenāt suffered any ill effects, and Iāve been told what effects I have had are goodā How can long term effects have been studied when the vaccines have only been around for three monthsā¦
Asbestos was deemed safe, so was lead, and mercury, and thalidomideā¦??? You are been used as an experiment Annie, and more than just for testing the vaccineā¦
Thatās nonsense Megā¦ Vaccinated people can still catch the virus and pass it on in the same way an unvaccinated person can.
After a few doses of these vaccines your immune system will be shot, and it might not be covid you catch, but something else that you will consider totally unconnected to the vaccineā¦
They have advised pregnant women not to have the vaccine OGF. We used to have mercury fillings and how many died from those? I once bit through a mercury thermometer as a child, probably killed a few brain cellsā¦
Has the lockdown not contributed Annie, or the better weatherā¦? I do agree that the vaccinations have also been a major factor, but at what cost? It is also a known fact that viruses tend to mutate from people who have been vaccinated. Just look at the way Antibiotics are losing their effectiveness through overuse, and the bodies ability to counteract the medication. A fine example of what your Immune system can do for youā¦ There will never be a vaccine against death Annieā¦
My daughter is waiting for an operation to remove breast implants that she had done over twenty years agoā¦(it was originally done for medical reasons and not cosmetic ones) She is slowly being poisoned by toxins from the implants and now has to have them removed. She was assured at the time that they were perfectly safe by the medical professionā¦
Itās not the body that counteracts medication OGF. Itās pathogens that learn to outwit the vaccines and medicines. The human body has a great ability to repair itself. We take a lot of vaccine effectiveness for granted e.g. tetanus. How many people have you met who have survived lockjaw?
Yes we all die eventually but hopefully not of a preventable disease.
Sorry about your daughter OGF. I hope she gets her op soon. I feel very differently about vaccines vs major surgery. Iād find it extremely hard to trust anyone to cut me open.
Thalidomide wasnāt a vaccine and is only dangerous in pregnant women, they have advised pregnant women should not be vaccinated for covid. We have all been exposed to lead as children with exhaust fumes in the old days or just on ice creams from a street vendor. We used to love the smell of the motorbike exhausts. In the 70s we had an old ironing board with an asbestos stand. Iām sure we were all exposed to it in some form. A lot of old properties had it in the ceiling. We should more worried these days about the chemicals in our household products, scented candles air fresheners. We assume everything around us is safe because we can buy it from a shop. They worry about plastics and now produce BPA free versions, but we have all been using the bad stuff for years. Itās clearly not as deadly as contracting covid.
Gosh Annie ,Iām surprised to read that !
I underwent necessary surgery at 5 yrs old ,removal of tonsils and three ops since .
Iāve only ever had a vaccination at school.
Like OGF Iām wary of these current vaccines .
I can see both Foxyās and Annieās points of view, and I think they are both making interesting points even though they may not agree.
Foxy, I know itās difficult, because if the vaccine did make you bad, or it didnāt work and you still got Covid you could say - āI told you so.ā
On the other hand, if you had the vaccine and never got covid, then some would say - ā We told you so. Itās because youāve been vaccinated.ā
When truth is, you might never have got it anyway!
As some know, I am very reluctant to have the second jab myself, but I think we should do what we feel is right for us personally, and decide for ourselves and not be forced.
In other words, donāt go simply because everyone else has and you feel pressurised against your will, but equally, donāt avoid having it for the wrong reasons e.g. stubborness, fears of some sort, or principles even.
I hope everyone here stays well, no matter what they decide in the end.
I know sheās hated by many but I watched a recommended video yesterday of Katy Hopkins talking about being pressured into taking up the vaccine .
She had all these papers in front of her which sheād studied well . They were NHS ones , she waved them about, genuine , pages and pages instructing their members how to ā persuadeā by using phrases on the phone when they rang patients . Very enlightening !
I wonāt be pressured Mups . Iāve got to be 100% sure ,given I now believe Iāve had the virus, that I need to take it up .
Yes thatās right many people here have had surgery. Iām not one of them and I would be extremely frightened. Would you try to talk me out of it if my life was at risk? I think not.
Many undergo chemo which poisons the whole body or have taken antibiotics which pretty much kill all your gut bacteria and survived and thrived.
