Have to say seeing Hayley making the best of her situation then Michelle being so ungrateful really jarred or perhaps that is what the writers intended.

Can’t abide Steve’s mother but, she did play a good part though wrestling Tina and Kylie apart and showing such a strong character, something which has been lacking for a while now in Corrie.
Julie: Yes, I do think that’s what the writers are intending, in that the new ownership of the pub pales into insignificance about Hayley’s sad situation. It’s all about balance.
