I know, it’s a ludicrous storyline. I also thought perhaps they may need at least a suitcase and a couple of nappies! Why can’t they writers at least make a stab at realism?
Yes, in a lot of soaps they do a moonlight flit without worrying about their houses or jobs. It makes me laugh. I would want at least three months’ notice before I ran off with a lover.

This is almost the first time anyone off the street has actually got further than Inkerman Street! I expect the white balloons to come and get them any time now (like in the Prisoner). And stealing Kirsty’s car? Oh yes, that’s a sensible move. It’s not like she’d tell the cops the registration is it?

I love Coronation Street whether it’s good or bad. I wonder if Kirsty will lose her temper and attack Kevin (although I think Kevin would stand up to her) or Sally? Showing what she is really like. I can’t wait for her comeuppance but know that, at the same time, it’ll be the last we see of her and at least she’s broght some ‘fire’ into the show.
