Bruce seeing his speech made me think of that funny video you once posted about Oz government spin.

Swim have you seen the news reports? This is predicted as already worse than the depression. Unsurprising really. I have already discussed with colleagues that our pensions will be wiped. The IMF is panicking. I can see that our entire capitalist system could be replaced with something else altogether. Starting to look at cash in a new light - as potential monopoly money. As for Brexit, it will no longer be relevant. The EU is likely to be split apart anyhow.
Exactly my point.
I’d rather we trade with individual countries than with one large ‘empire’ whose leaders cream off their pay, expenses and benefits from both sellers and buyers whilst, at the same time, having the temerity to dictate to us all their laws which we must obey.

For burglars, visitors, errant cats, foxes etc we have a wonderful resident guard dog to announce their presence
This is like a very quiet and low level hum which can only be heard in the downstairs front room at some times. It’s happened when the boiler is off so very mysterious. Seems outside but then you can’t hear anything in the front garden.

The EU will be replaced by something similar and we will be a part of it. They will tear up the old rule book.
…or recovery from Covid could make nations realise they need friends and even strengthen the EU as they start the long process of rebuilding. Could go either way.
Anyway Britain’s dream of the demise of the EU is very unlikely now they have more important things to worry about. The world is going to be a very different place when this is over.
Friends yes, the EU no! The EU is nobodies friend except their own money grabbing, bullying hierarchy with a lust for power.
The English have always been friends with our European cousins, to say otherwise was just a malicious rumour put about by the remainers to make brexiteers feel guilty…

Interesting.
I have heard about these inexplicable sounds, and people have made various suggestions of their causes: natural as well as man-made.
Whenever I hear such examples as yours, I yearn for further information and possible explanations.

Yes, a new Common Market without any political controls.
All was well until the EEC morphed into the EU.

Well I can honestly say that I feel absolutely no guilt about my anti-EU opinions.
The only people who ought to feel guilty are the anti-democratic remainiacs, especially those who are still whingeing about Brexit.

Poor old Assman. Why would I need to use a smart phone? it is just simple maths. However just type it into Google and it will tell you but if that is beyond you try this
1 million = 10^6
7.5 billion = 10^9 x 7.5
so it is not that hard
(1,000,000/7,500,000,000) x 100 = 0.01333333333%

I hope that helped
