Just what I said.
The topic starter stated that none worked and asked if it was true
The statement WAS quote
I’ve just read that China sold Spain 640,000 testing kits that don’t work? I wonder how true that is? Anyone else heard about it?

It doesn’t really matter because Spain has reportedly sent them back.
If a third worked WHY
Some good news (sort of):
The Australian daily tally of new COVID-19 cases has slipped below the previous day’s count for a second consecutive day, with new confirmed cases either falling or remaining steady in NSW, Victoria, WA, SA and Tasmania.
That doesn’t mean that the cases are deceasing it just means the rate of increase is declining which shows that some measures are starting to work. Only time will tell what difference it makes.
Even at this rate the ICU beds will be overwhelmed in early April.
All Australians returning from overseas will no longer be able to self isolate they will be taken to hotels and caravan parks in their arrival state and kept in isolation for 14 days guarded by police and the military. They will then allowed home where they will be required to self isolate for a further 14 days (as I understand it from this mornings news).
As had being reported that Charles has got it its being reported that so has the Queen.
This recent Imperial study was just discussed on the news - pretty sobering stuff “Coronavirus pandemic could have caused 40 million deaths if left unchecked” :
Three weeks ago talking my daughter who lives in Islington

Hi
We are where we are.
Easiest and simplest thing for us all to do is to obey the rules and stay inside.
The NHS and Police are doing their best, let them get on with it.
The prat next door is still dealing drugs and thinks it is funny to spit on the street and into peoples gardens.
No point at all in being stupid at the moment and putting the Police and NHS under more stress.
When this is over, he will get the kicking he deserves and nobody will have seen anything.
Stay safe and stay inside.
I had a message saying a health worker has said to stay indoors from tomorrow as the peak is speeding towards us. I’m not sure how official that is but they may have been forewarned. After the peak is reached two weeks calm then it starts to subside.
I wish we had official news of this.
There are some strange things happening.
For some odd reason, the U.S. is experiencing only a 1.64 % fatalities. We have all been reading and hearing that the global rate is double that.
A 101 yr old had the virus but survived.
A normally perfectly healthy 17 yr old has died.
I don’t understand any of this.
They have said that O type blood groups are less likely to die. Seems most dangerous for type A.
How about B Pos.? Just interested, you understand.
Me too after all we’re quite rare beings!
We’ll just have to hope and be positive!
I did look for that when the research was out and it’s not easy to find anything specific. It’s quite interesting to study the history of blood groups I had always thought that O was the first blood group and the others evolved over time. But it appears there are two theories, one being that type O is the most evolved as it has the highest resistance to disease.
Also quite interesting to see that type A is highly prevalent in chimpanzees whereas type B is equally high in gorillas!
Indications would show that type B is less successfuul at fighting this off than type O but more so than type A which is markedly more likely to result in fatalities.
Perhaps they should be doing more research into blood type vs medical efficacy.
This is why you should only listen to official sources because misinformation at a time like this is very dangerous.
We are indeed.
Nice to know that you’re a fellow blue-blooded member.
I think that all the royals are of blood group B.
I heard this recently too, Annie.
Only thing is, I have no idea what blood group I am.
How do you find out?
No, I can’t possibly be a gorilla.
All my shirts have sleeves which are too long for my arms, so that confirms that I am not a knuckle-dragger.
So just cruising tv channels,on the shopping ones there’s a presenter and an expert extolling the virtues of their product, essential work?
