I thought the motor oil highlights didn’t quite fit with the overall style.
In real life, the thug would dismiss the loss of an offspring as collateral, probably.
I hadn’t thought of that, but you’re right and she’s doing it brilliantly.
So who’s the new Minnie?
Mine’s a milk stout.
She must need the money.
What about Martha?
I always remember them:
Ena Sharples
Minnie Caldwell
Martha Longhurst
The Three Witches!
You mean they’ve made someone marry that poisonous female?
Good grief - that really is stretching the credulity of the story line.
Last I heard - she was in gaol for murder.:-D:-D
Just looked it up on Google and - no - it looks like a cheap nightie. It does show that she has backside worthy of a kardashian though !:-D:-D
Sinead’s such a drippy character isn’t she? The idea that someone as articulate and intelligent as Daniel would be with her is ludicrous. All she seems to do is turn those big Bambi eyes on him and give vague speeches.
As for Tracy and Steve - again, would anyone want to be within a mile of such a toxic, sarcastic woman as her - twice? Not sure what sort of hairdresser that black girl is supposed to be, but Tracy’s hair looked limp and awful!
I don’t know why Daniel & Sinead didn’t have a legal wedding. They could still have got married in that garden - but to be married By Kirk!
Honestly!!!
If I remember correctly, she’s committed two murders and is still running free.
Still, isn’t that par for the course in this country now?
More like Blanche character surely.
Jack?..…Do you mean Kevin’s son Summer?
Congratulations go to Coronation Street for the most ridiculous and unlikely storylines that have ever been dared to be shown on British Television…
There are so many characters visiting hospital it should be renamed Midsomer Murders meets Holby City…
Can see another tram crash about to happen. Delete a few characters the scripwriters have run out of stories for.
Oooooo, I thought it was really good, her that plays Michelle acted really well I thought. Couldn’t believe Leanne got run over though, wasn’t expecting that lol.
I’ve been getting a bit fed up with CS since Phelan got killed off (he was an ace villian) but I really did enjoy watching the omnibus this weekend.
I’m trying to remember who Blanche was.
Of the ‘three witches’, I’d say she’s more like Martha Longhurst.
Ena Sharples was the leader, of course, and no-one - but no-one - argued with her.
Minnie Caldwell was the really nice quiet one (who had a cat - Bobby).
Martha Longhurst was the really cutting one.
No, I think they need all the nonentities as ‘fillers’. These are the boring stories that never really go anywhere and, in some cases, also fulfil the need for PC characterisations.
The old black and white Coronation Street never seemed to need any of that, and had far fewer characters who each played a real part in the storylines.
Blanche was Deidre’s Mother.
In reality the script writers have done every story line there is to be done to death and in lots of cases repeated several times over the years leaving Corrie with some very weak stories now and some very boring characters
who need a blooming good shove out the door and some fresh blood brought in.
Ah yes. Of course she was. Thank you.
