Have a lovely day …

Good morning all.
In the last hour the weather has changed from a blue sky to angry looking. Heavy clouds and just waiting for the rain.
My daughter is back and I was hoping that she would organise the taking of the 6 trays of her tomato plants. They are ready for replanting.
It would seem that I shall have to take them there tomorrow, as they have no vehicle that can take them. So my custom built mobility vehicle has its uses at times.
Laundry being done and that is the only plan that I have so far.

Morning everyone. Lovely sunny day again, it really warms the cockles of yer heart to see

Leaving in a minute to take my granddaughter to her swimming lesson - she’s gone up to the next stage now, very excited she is!

@carol pleased your joiner has finished and done a good job for you. Let’s hope you get a decent result from your efforts to get the plumber to put things right. Good luck with that!

Good morning everybody.

I want to do a lot of bits & bobs today - plant some geraniums in pots - sort through some old paint in the shed - sand & prepare the joinery work we had done the other day ready for painting - oh & must nip to the Card Factory shop at some point, we’ve got three birthdays coming up next week…

Have a good day all…

Morning all. Just.

Woke up late this morning, but as it is the weekend and well, I’m retired…no matter. Might bob along to the chemist, see if my repeat meds are ready. If I take the car I can go on to Tescos, see if my favourite cereal is back in stock.

Good morning everybody.

I’m picking my daughter in law Paula up this morning to go to the town with the crooked spire - Chesterfield. It’s her birthday on Thursday and I’m hoping we can find something nice for her - she’ll be 40.

Should be back early afternoon so I can cook a chicken dinner for tonight & potter in the garden with Tony.

Have a good day all…

Morning all.

Well yesterday, successfully got my cereals in Tesco, and a lot more besides, but not my repeat meds. I was told the doctor hadn’t put the request through, yet when I went back to the surgery website and checked, it had been requested on Thursday, the day after I’d done it. I now have to get on the phone to them, first thing Monday, and find out what went wrong. Off out visiting about 10.15 so can’t be doing with that.

Got WM on now, had breakfast, and will shortly walk the dog.

Later I will make a meat loaf, for my roastie lunch. Can’t wait.

morning all ,
another warm day ,and im eating out today, also doing a little bit of gardening and a walk ,its going to be a busy time .
Have a wonderful day .

Good morning all.
Blue sky, sun shining, but a cold easterly wind.
My daughter was given a £50 almost out of date voucher for Nandos. So her, my grandson and I went there yesterday evening. Sad to say in my opinion the quality of the food has deteriorated.
I think that it is reflected by it was not so busy for a Saturday evening.
Shortly I am going to take the trays of tomato plants to my daughter.

Morning everyone. It’s duller today but sunny spells have been promised.

Our granddaughter had her first stage 4 swimming lesson yesterday, and she did so well! Straight in the deep end, no qualms at all, swam half a length and then to the side and climbed out (there was a different lesson taking place in the shallow end). The swim teacher told my daughter she was impressed with her ability, and that she was already better than some of the existing stage 4 swimmers!

Made some more knickers for her yesterday. Honestly I am so pleased with the pattern - they fit better than any knickers she’s ever had before, and my daughter feels much happier about her hanging upside down in the playground now, lol! Looks like I’ve got a job for life now, keeping my granddaughter’s underwear drawer well stocked!

Our son is getting a new puppy today, a snap decision yesterday, when he met up with someone holding a little 8 week old red fox lab. Got talking to him (son already has an 8 year old red fox lab), and turned out they had one left in the litter that they were hoping to sell before they go off on holiday in a couple of weeks. So, deal done, half price! Can’t wait to meet him!

Oooh Bath, how lovely. Do put up photos when son collects puppy.

Here he is. They’ve named him Harley. He’s 9 weeks old, and his big brother is approaching 9 years old!

Oh my gosh, I could smooch him all day!:heart_eyes:

I have just discovered that the new painkillers I took earlier are opiate based which will mean that I will be awake most of the night because for some reason this type of medication stops me sleeping . I normally read up on any medication before taking it but then again my GP should have been fully aware of this nuisance side effect.
I could hit the vodka and a bit of PC gaming but it takes me forever to recover from a hangover these days, decisions decisions.:smiley:

Morning folks.

Out visiting a friend for a couple of hours later this morning. Then sort out some rubbish to try and fill the black bin for tomorrow.

Good morning all, lovely and sunny here.

What aa beautiful Lab puppy, I want him.

Have a nice day all.
