See you soon, Susie. Holly didnāt get me out in the night, as I thought she would, but I must walk her soon, make her comfortable. Last night I walked round and round the site for 45 minutes. Just weesā¦nothing else. And then there is our final night today. 
Once Susie and her OH leave us, I might start loading up the car, ready for a 10am getaway tomorrow. Leave fridge stuff, and just a few bits, till the last minute.
Holiday is over, all too soon. Being away from noisy neighbours has been lovely. Shame weather turned yesterday, but it didnāt matter so much, as I was shopping and home for awhile, after Hollyās groom. I have my few days dog free towards the end of this month so will try and book something. Canāt be away all the time as I have the black bin to leave out and bring back in, before someone fills it with their rubbish. This week was recycling, and isnāt full enough.

I planted a couple of Petunias out on Monday, and they seem to have survived .
Ive read Spring is now 3 weeks earlier, than before.

The weather here is great at the moment. Yesterday there was the much needed rain. Filled my water buts, and raised the level of the ponds a bit.
I must do some housework today as my daughter is coming home later tonight and landing in the early hours of tomorrow.
She will tell me off is it is not clean and tidy.

Nothing else planned, so will just follow where the day leads me.

Another delivery day ,some gardening to be done ,I planted up my front flower bed yesterday .

Went a nice walk last evening , the fields are a patch work of Yellow and Green ,
I had my monthly phone call yesterday from my Cardio care Nurse , nothing new there , .

Flipping people in caravan next door. Back from entertainment, start loading up 2 cars, noisily. Got out with Holly and spoke to security. He went to have a listen but theyd stopped.

No great plans for the day apart from watering the veg patch, which is looking very shoddy this year, what with such a dry April and late frosts my garden certainly isnāt going to be a thing of beauty this year. However, at least the weeds continue to flourishā¦

It is also looking like a nice day. Sun and no clouds yet. I noticed that there was a ground mist earlier.
Been out with Minnie, and now going to track my daughters flight. Supposed to be landing at 10.15.
Going to do some more cleaning around the house. Subject to my daughters inspection later.
Morning everyone. Bit duller today, but not cold and not raining.
We discovered last night that thereās a problem with our back door. Itās never been right since we had all the rendering taken off and replaced - the huge great jack hammer they used to get off the rendering dislodged the doorframe somewhat, and at first we couldnāt even shut the door! The builders did sort that out for us, but itās never really fitted in the frame properly since, and takes a bit of shoulder work sometimes to close and lock it. But now we find the steel bar running down the lock side, the bit that holds all the steel bolts and central dead bolt, is bowed, and has lifted away from the doorframe by more than half a cm at its widest point.
So Mr B is getting in touch with a door specialist today, and weāre expecting to need a new door there. Bloominā house maintenance, never ends does it?
Good morning everybody.
The joiner finished his work yesterday & I am very pleased with what heās done. Iāve now got a decent floor in the bottom of what used to be an airing cupboard, Where the central heating pump used to be is now nicely boxed in & I have a much needed deep shelf in a ācubby holeā
I have left the plumbers ugly piping exposed for now until I know what weāre doing with it. Daniel the joiner will come & box it in for us when I decide.
Today I will post a āsigned forā letter to the plumber outlining my complaints & giving him 14 days to respond or I will take him to the small claims court.
It feels so good not to have anymore workmen coming to the house. Well - for the time being anyway.
Iām meeting my friend Jean for lunch today and looking forward to that. When I get back around 3.30ish Tony & I are doing an Aldi shop & having a walk round the local pond.
Sheba, I sympathise with you over the door. Sounds like you will need a new one.
Youāre right about house maintenance. Iāve had one thing after another. Itās almost driven me mad!!

Just booked in for another jab for anti Covid for the over 75 yr olds. This will be the 4th jab so should be ok for the holiday later on
Home (we left early, well before the 10am check out). My washing is done and hanging out, everything has been unpacked and put away, I have prepared a new water filter, and am sitting down relaxing with another cuppa.
Will walk Holly soon, see if anyone has missed us.
