Thanks all, for get well wishes. I have just got up from bed, had maybe just over an hour in there. Having a cuppa then really must shower. Holly will be wanting her midday walk soon.

I hope to go into town, visit the library (some books in, some out, there is one on reserve ready for collection). A bakery, for a couple of their soft rolls, for lunch. And just a wander about.

Oh dear oh dear. You poor girls and your pain-full sufferings.
Not like us men who hold it in. Well that is what my wife used to say.
Right now for the bad news. Something had a go at my tadpole pond what ever it was collapsed the wire mesh that was covering it. I think it possibly was a Fox. There does not seem to be as many tadpoles as there was. I canāt see foxes eating tadpoles.
Just recovered it with boards and more mesh.
Weather here cloudy now but still pleasantly warm.

Its rather grey out and a little bit nippy , I need to go and buy Chicken Breast , and Mince,so that a walk down to local Co-op.

Whereās the sun gone? Itās gone all dull and cloudy this morning 
Well after a fairly busy day yesterday, I donāt have a lot planned today, apart from going up to see my daughterās dog later. We did start bringing her round to us on our days for her (a neighbour takes her out two days a week), but the last time we brought her here, she couldnāt seem to settle all day. Strange because all her life this has been her second home, sheās very familiar with it, but I suspect as sheās getting so old now, she just wants to be in her own home, in her own bed.

Tony & I overlay this morning. I had a young man coming to measure up for some joinery work at 10.30 & I woke up at 10.20, leapt out of bed put my dressing gown on & there he was!!
All sorted now. Ady had just called to take Tony out for the afternoon & the first thing I am going to do is get dressed.
Later, Iāve got a lovely black dress to pack up & return to Roman Originals. I wanted it for Paulaās surprise 40th birthday party. It was lovely but not right for me.
Things are still not straight from the plumber - I think Iāll do a bit of tidying this afternoon.

I want to do an Aldi shop today. I never used to be an Aldi fan but Iām converted now.
Their food is really nice quality.
Iāve a Joe Brown parcel to pick up from a Pickup point & a dress to send back to Roman Originals.
We might go a walk round the local pond later. Tony likes a walk even though he canāt walk far these days.
When Iām not so busy Iāll get the mobility scooter out for him & weāll go a long one.

Still quite cold out, no sign of the sun. I think the weather forecasters lie or just guess.
I believe it was a fox that collapsed the mesh cover on the tadpole pond yesterday. Saw one on my garden camera. I donāt think that it had any tadpoles, and all it wanted was a drink of water. Think about it. With no rain, how can foxes and other creatures get water.
I am going to put out something with water in it, for those that need it.
Nothing yet planed for today.

Yes, still quite chilly. Had my heating on and off in the night and Holly felt cold when we cuddled earlier. Resisting putting it back on now, though.
Good idea, Emjay, leaving something out for the foxes to drink from. Does seem awhile now, since we have had rain. (Shhhhh, donāt remind the weather!! Hate walking the dog when it is hammering it down.)
No idea what I fancy doing. 9am and I am yet to do anything constructive. Might move myself now.
Morning everyone, well the sunās back to day, hooray! Still chilly though, got the living room fire on.
Really should do some shopping today, running out of breakfast cereal. My heartās not in it though, cos I really want to get on with some sewing - what with going up to see our daughterās dog in the middle of the day, then picking granddaughter up from school, I feel as if I never have a good long stretch to get my teeth into a project. Even at weekends Iām running around taking daughter and granddaughter to the pool for lessons/swimming sessions. Think Iām going to have to encourage them to use the buses, now that they seem to be back to normal after a long period of service cuts.
@Emjay it made me feel sad to think of the fox trying to get some water - so pleased youāll be putting some water out for the wild creatures

The sun is shining but there is a cold easterly wind. Nice in the shade from the wind.
It was quite pleasant strolling round the fields with Minnie though.
Nothing planed for me, but I expect I shall find things to do.
Morning chit chatters, itās a lovely bright sunny day, but still very chilly - better to enjoy it from inside a nice warm room.
Off out in a minute for my granddaughterās weekly swimming lesson, then back home with nothing planned for the rest of the day. Iām sure Iāll find something

I shall probably start thinking about my little caravan break, from Monday. What washing to do, what to take (and what not). Iāve stayed in some in the past where the cookware has been grim, to say the least. I even remember going into a supermarket to buy a new frying pan, might even have added a saucepan. Took items home, whatever I bought.
Good morning all , the sun is already beaming , yesterday afternoon turned into a scorcher , so I planted some Cosmos out ,they survivedthe night and so Ive planted some more out this morning .
a slug in my Green house had almost eaton a Lobelia seedling and had started on a Petunia, so found that and gave it a salt bath .
Ive a visitor today , we most likly go a walk , finding somewhere where theres no other dog walkers is a Challenge , My poor dog has been attacked 7 times now in the past few years ,and some dogs come snapping at my heels too , which is scary ā¦
None of them are on leads, mine is kept on a lead always when out .
The Birds in my garden are singing away today .makes for a nice start to the day .
