Just the library and Tesco’s for me today, weather permitting.
I have not followed everyone by recording my meter readings. If it goes up, it goes up. I’m on a smart meter anyway, so really don’t see the bother. I think Martin Lewis has a lot to answer for, advising consumers to do this, making the energy companies’ websites crash as they did!

I am determined to finish making my damn bag today. Honestly, I have made that many mistakes along the way, that it’s a wonder it’s not in the bin! The only thing that has saved it from that fate is the thought of all the work I’ve put into it so far.
So nothing else on the agenda, because I’m keeping the day free to get this done once and for all, haha!

Daughter and her lot are off to the IOW. They have another 8 fruit trees to plant as they are planning to make an orchard in one of the fields.
Managed to get the dog walk done. Tried to snow on our way back but nothing major.

Off to do our weekly shopping this morning, but that’s about it, rest for the rest of the day, if it gets arm, I can sit outside in the garden.

Very frosty here but now that the sun is about most of the frost has been burnt off.
I have already been busy. Second lot of Laundry being done, first in the dryer.
Been and seen to daughters cat and also had to water the seedlings that she has in the conservatory.
Got to repair the fence at the back of the garden. I never realised that it had come down, until my neighbour told me. Bodge job going to be done there.

Day three of me having covid & still feeling rough. Like a really heavy cold with a few additions. I’ve got no appetite & what I do eat tastes terrible. My eyes are watering so badly that all I want to do is close them. On a brighter note my broken elbow seems to be getting a bit better.
Tony is looking after me as best he can bless him.
The kids have offered to do shopping for us but that’s as far as their offer goes.
I could do with help with a bit of ironing because of my elbow but none have offered even though I dropped a few hints.
Ah well - I’ve found the name of an ironing lady.
I used her before when I broke my wrist. She does a big bag full for £20 so can’t grumble at that.
It goes without saying - another day resting for me. Thank goodness my freezer is well stocked with ready meals.

Been and done my daughters cat, nice on the road so early with not a lot of traffic so an almost a non stop journey.

My daughter and family came back from the farm late yesterday evening. I bet she has more eggs for me. Got so many now I just have to use more. I call them chicken embryos. “Oh no not more chicken embryos“.

The insurance assessor will be phoning me later to tell me what time he’s coming tomorrow to look at my C/H disaster.
Of course when I tell him we’ve got covid it will be postponed.
Expecting daughter Sue with some shopping later. I expect she’ll just leave it on the doorstep…
