Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Good morning all, sunny here at the moment.
Janet is coming to see me this morning, better tell my OH to be on his best behavoiur.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning everybody.

Cleaning & Tesco shop for me today - exciting eh? lol

Susie & Janet enjoy your visit.

Have a good day all…

Morning all.

Yes, I don’t want any lip from him, lol! See you shortly. I will have the iPad with me, so we can do photos of us.

That’s the only plan for today.

Morning everyone, the rain has cleared and the sun has broken through, so no complaints :sunglasses:

Not much happening here today, maybe an hour in the garden later but that about it.

Enjoy your day peeps

Good morning all.
I had to wait for a heavy shower to pass before I managed to go out on the usual stroll with Minnie this morning. Blue sky and sunny at the moment, but it will not last.
Bread making with 24 minutes to finish. Second laundry in the wash and first in the dryer.
That should be fun when Jan and Susie get together.
I don’t know if my daughter will be coming today as she has things to do. She fed me well last evening with lamb, baked potatoes, and lots of green veg.
I keep telling her that it is the best meal of the week for me. And that’s true.

morning all , the sun is shining and ive nothing to do today.
There wasn’t much in the way of spring flowers at the Park,Camelias ,and Daffs mostly .
Enjoy your day …

@Emjay, that is good she is looking after her dad. Yes, having someone cook a meal for you, and not having to do any washing up, is usually the best!

Oh Susie and I always behave, lol.

Morning all. bit brighter today but a tad breezy. Better half nursing a fractured arm so it’s head cook and bottle washer for a while  . Have a good day all.

Morning… er, afternoon all. Was out early this morning to pick up daughter to take granddaughter for her swimming lesson. She’s moved up to stage 3 now, so lessons are Saturday morning instead of Tuesday after school. Stayed for a cuppa at daughter’s house after and then our son turned up there to set up Netflix for her, because that’s his birthday present to her.

So I came home to Mr B in a panic - he’d hung the bedding out that I’d put in the washer before I went out, and as it is really blowy out there today, it had blown high and flipped over the electrical cable that comes from the garage to the house. And of course, he couldn’t get it back again . That electrical cable really does drive me nuts, because there’s nowhere else to site the washing line, so this has been an ongoing problem. I don’t pull the line fully up when it’s windy, for that reason, but of course Mr B did, with the inevitable result. All sorted now, with the help of a tall step ladder to unpeg everything first.

Susie and me at her house. Popped in to see how she is doing, post surgery (very well by the looks of it!)

You’re looking pretty good to me @susiejaeger. Hope the pain is easing up now

Thank you, I have improved a lot, still need a stick when out, but indoors I can get away with walking without an aid.

That sounds a great improvement Susie, long may it continue… :+1:

Morning all, nice and sunny here but very cold.

Nothing planned for the day.

Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

Thanks Eliza.

Morning chit chatters, a bit chilly this morning, with showers forecast for most of the day.

Off to give daughter and granddaughter a lift to the pool this morning - Mr B will pick them up when they’re ready to go home. Nothing else planned for today, so I’ll just see what the day brings me.

Good morning all.
Ahhh, that’s a nice picture of yous twos.
So just back from my daily tour with Minnie on the fields. There is all ready one of the football organisers there sorting out the gear.
The council have put 3 new boot cleaning device’s out. I wonder how long they will last or if they get used.
Although there is a sign at the gate telling to clean boots before leaving the ground, not many take any notice and continue to clean the mud off in the street and pavements. This is a big complaint from surrounding neighbours.
Nothing yet planed for today, except to decide what to make for lunch/dinner. Lamb shank or 1/4 chicken?

Good morning everybody.

We’ve planned to take the mobility scooter to the local country park for it’s first outing in the car. Ady & Paula are coming with us just to make sure I know how to take it to bits & load it in the car.

Might have to call it off as it’s looking like rain.

Good to see you looking so well Susie - and Janet looking good too.

Have a good day all…

Thanks folks.

I have prepped my veg for lunch, having a Chinese flavoured pork steak in a roast. Then thought of making banana bread. Pah! After knocking a jar of Turkey gravy granules down, clearing up the resultant mess (it went everywhere!!!), picking up the glass and hoovering the kitchen floor, trying to hold Holly back for her own safety while I did so, I no longer felt like doing it. Made a cuppa and a phone call instead. :triumph::roll_eyes:

Shall now start on the car.
