Sorry to hear that, Barry.
Good morning all.
So after the storm it is if it never happened. Although cold here it is warm in the sun. Little bits of debris on the field this morning, and I could see a few shed roofs have suffered.
I had a fence panel out, but that has already been put back, thanks to my SIL who came and did it. Also part of my conservatory roof sheet was lifting in the wind. That has to be sorted.
Susie. I hope you start to get some relief soon.
Morning everyone,
A lot calmer today thank heavens. We had no damage - the shingles on our porch roof were lifting, but Mr B went out there and nailed them down again.
Hope your pain eases soon @susiejaeger.
@Barry that sounds like itās going to be a bit of a job to clear up - good luck with that!
Iāve been without my laptop since yesterday lunchtime because my daughterās one froze and she desperately needed to be able to do some online training while the school was closed due to Eunice.
The funny thing was, when I got my laptop bag, which I hadnāt used for years, I found in one of the pockets Mr Bās old Kindle, which heād searched for high and low for months, and eventually just given up. Must have been from the last time I took my laptop away on holiday, which was about 4 years ago!
Have a good day everyone, hope you donāt have too much clearing up to do
Morning all.
I am in so much pain.
Have a nice day all.
Susie I feel for you I really do, I do so hope that your pain eases before longā¦
We have company arriving for lunch so weāll be having a busy day cleaning through and preparing a full roast, be lovely to see them though, it has been a while since with this damned covidā¦
Have a pleasant day everyone
Morning Susie, and all to follow.
Sorry Susie. Hope you get some relief soon.
Today I might try and muster up the courage to look in my loft, see if there is any structural damage after that awful crash I heard Friday evening. Or I might not!
Good morning all
I also am feeling for our Susie. I would pray for her if I believed in any religion that would help.
It is again windy, but never as bad as Friday.
Very dull and cold.
My grandson supposed to be coming here this morning to attempt to do some jobs for me.
Also I will have to go to Morrisonās for a couple of bits.
Morning all , Susie I hope your pain goes away soon , it must be draining waking up to it every morning ,try and plan a head ,better times to come im sure .
Susie, surely they cant leave you in pain like that?
Nothing to do with me I know, but have you told them how bad it is? Has anyone checked you over?
I know Susie has said in the past she canāt tolerate many strong pain killers, and believe also she has spoken to the surgeon. I know we all emphasise with her, and wish we could help, but it just has to take its time to heal.
Morning everyone,
Weather still fairly miserable, a bit blowy and dull. I feel lost without my laptop here - not used to just using my phone! Mr B has just gone up to take my daughter and granddaughter to the pool for a swim, and heāll bring my laptop back with him as sheās finished with it now. Yay! Hopefully she can get hers fixed this week as itās half term.
Oh Susie, poor you, I really do feel for you
Its raining here and has been since daylight broke , but im looking forward to going out for a walk when my Chauffeur arrives , and so will Ellie , its been 2 weeks since I last did a proper walk .
Hoping to head out along a Canal in the Vale , last time it was a sunny day and we had to divert else where cause of so many walkers ,It should be a lot quieter today .
Had a look in my loft, as I said. Couldnāt see anything that would explain the horrendous crash I heard Friday, so am none the wiser. Mind, I didnāt look all the way in but it seems structurally ok.
Donāt want to access the loft too often, as very difficult. Too much struggling, with furniture in the way, and the loft hatch and ladder themselves.
Morning all, found it really hard to get out of bed this morning, the pains in my leg ae terrible.
Hubby is going out this morning to do the weekly shopping.
Have a nice day all.
Morning all, still very windy here and itās recycling bin day, so no doubt there will be many bins blowing over and spilling their contents before the binmen arriveā¦
Nothing much planned again other than trying to source some greenhouse glass, which I will fit once the wind abates. Eustice took out six panes but thankfully Franklin didnāt take out any extra⦠yetā¦
Wishing you all a pleasant day
morning all , very windy here but everything is still secure . Enjoyed my walk yesterday , we went along an old disused railway track, only saw an old couple with dogs . The Yellow on the Broom was out which was nice to see.Have a nice day all .
Morning folks.
Susie, hang in there mate.
Barry, still windy so yes, wait till all died down.
Eliza, nice photos.
Holly is having her groom at 1 so I plan on going to Morrisons for lunch, maybe their small breakfast. I will just have time for some shopping afterwards, in the SM, maybe Lidl, and then can go back to the parlour and sit outside in the car, with a book/mag, and wait for the call.
Good morning all.
Not so good weather here, still more wing as I feel sure you may all be suffering.
I expect my daughter will be coming home, but not yet checked if the ferries are working.
Just got a bread going.
Nothing else yet planned for today.
Nice pictures Eliza. Like the old bridge one.
That is worrying, Emjay. Not even sure I would like to be on the water on a day like today. Maybe they can delay a day or two?
Good morning from a windy south east. Feels like Eunice is still hanging around. Tied everything down but some bits still managed to escape. . Have a safe day all.
