Morning everyone, so Franklin has been blowing up a storm overnight, not as severe as Eunice, but I wouldnât have wanted to be out in it last night.
Might have to go and have a row with the sorting office down the road if the special diet dog food my daughter ordered isnât delivered. Should have been there Friday but she got a âwe attempted to deliver but there was no responseâ email from them - sheâd been sitting at her table working, facing the front door, only about 3 metres away - no one had come anywhere near her door. Saturday she got an email saying âthis address is not accepting deliveriesâ. Once again, sheâd been in all the time and there was no knock at the door. Sheâs rearranged delivery today, so fingers crossed!
No real plans today, donât much fancy going out in this wind, so will have a potter.
It was all ok Jan. she sent me a video whilst on the ferry, and the water did not look all that bad.

I am no expert but have had some experience of firearms and after watching a news report of Ukrainian volunteers training I do feel that those with a wooden template of a rifle are somewhat at a disadvantage in the event of being sent to the front line.

A bit dull this morning, but I think the wind has calmed down at last.
Itâs half term and we want to take our daughter and granddaughter to The Box, which is a recently revamped and reopened museum in Plymouth, a brilliant place to visit by all accounts. So we might go today, will see what she says.

Good morning all.
Just back from Sainsburyâs with the weekly shop.
Going to give Minnie a haircut and then a bath. Got to do this as at times I get an allergic reaction when she has been mixing with my daughterâs cat.
Surprised to find my lovely Dentist had sold up and left , but hes sold to another lovely lady so I have no worries , had an ex-ray done but nothing new there .Im now waiting for some plants to arrive , I do like shopping online and having them delivered .

Been awake since 6. Made a decaf coffee, took it back upstairs and tried dozing afterwards but next door were noisy so gave up.

After all the years I have had Minnie, I discovered that she likes porridge.
I am going to the âlunch clubâ later, so that could be the outing of my day.

Morning all, after a night of tossing and turning, and some very strange dreams, I was quite pleased to get out of bed this morning.
Itâs very dull and overcast here, and not likely to improve as the day goes on.
Having my hair cut later, then Iâll go and spend some time with my granddaughter while her mumâs having her lashes done. Itâs being done at home, but her 6 year old would be at a loose end just amusing herself for 2 hours on her own.
@susiejaeger I do hope you can find something to distract you while you cope with this pain
