Part of your pre-op Susie? Hope it goes well for you…

Morning all, a hard frost here and a cold day forecast so plans for any gardening, so I may just disappear into the hobby room for awhile and keep my head down.

Have a pleasant day everyone.

Good morning all.
Yes also cold and frosty here, but sun is there in the east.
Got to go again to Morrison’s chemist as the meds were not ready. GPs fault as they had not sent the return prescription. It is only for one lot that they mucked up last week. I did phone and told them to sort it.
Going to my daughter this evening for dinner, so not much else planed.

Morning all.

Barry, I bet you enjoyed having them all there.

Window cleaner expected in half hour, then I will get ready for a trip to town (after de-icing the car). Library, M&S for groceries, and a mooch round a few more shops, maybe. Depends how cold I feel and if I want to come home to get warm.

I requested my repeat meds online this morning, so another trip into town early next week for me.

Morning all.

|Nothing doing just isolating.

Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

Just a few more days to go Susie. Are you nervous/scared?

Was telling my friend yesterday, when I spoke of my London trip, making arrangements to see him and his now wife, because he has a cataract surgery booked at end of this month. Asked if he was scared. ‘Oh no, no’ he replied. Said his eyes are worsening day by day and he is afraid to drive, so by the time I get to see them he said he should have one good eye, for driving. I said, if not, we will make other plans and I will go to them. Then he will get a referral for the other eye.

Boring housework for me today. Some bathroom cleaning, change bed linen. Fold up yesterday’s washing.

Susie, I started a new library book yesterday, the story of which is based in Gorleston and Yarmouth. Even Lowestoft had a mention. (A ruthless business man is found dead in his car, which had plunged into the River Yare. Was it suicide, or murder. Author lives in Norwich and has detailed knowledge of the area.)

Good morning all.
Cold. That is me and also when I went out for the usual stroll with Minnie.
As usual for a Saturday morning, laundry day. First lot already in the dryer, and second lot in washer.
Don’t know what I shall be doing this morning, but my daughter said that we must go out somewhere.
Lunch for me, will be another vegetable soup that I have already taken out of the freezer. Still got another two for whenever.

Morning all, just back from walking the dogs on a very blustery day, and the wind is forecast to strengthen later with rain they say… :sunglasses:

Nothing much on my agenda, just doing some research for a planned trip next winter and I’ll be doing fish fingers and chips for lunch, yummy…

Have a pleasant day everyone

Book sounds good Janet.

No i’m not nervous at all, just want to get better.

When in Hospital they like to give you a tablet to calms your nerves, but I never take it, I always say no.

Morning all, has been raining and windy during the night, I think the wind has settled down now.
Nothing doing today, still isolating, maybe do the housework.
Janet hope your ankle is on the mend.
Have a nice day all.

Morning.

Susie, it is probably better for an overnight bed rest, but time will tell, when on dog walk. Hope those winds have eased. It has been so cold of late.

I had to adjust my settings for this thread, as I had to keep doing a search for it. But now I have set it to notifications, it comes up on my avatar. After all this time, and I didn’t know.:laughing:

An easy day maybe for me. Just cook a nice chicken roast for lunch time. See what needs tidying up. Will rest my ankle best I can. And then start another library book. I love this singleton life at times! :+1::+1:

Morning all, sorry to hear of your poorly ankle Jan, hope the pain eases before too long.

We’ve walked the dogs already so the weather can do as it likes, I’ve no plans anyway other than reading the paper, making soup for lunch and then maybe catching a film this afternoon.

Wishing you all a pleasant day

Good morning all.
Cold and windy out there. I still managed a stroll around the fields. The stuff that gets left apart from the rubbish when the footballers have gone. Found a nice almost new pair of trainers in a bag. (Not my size). So I put them where they can be seen and maybe the owner will get them.
Would you believe that I found a ladies Rolex there once. Yes I did. It was a fake one. But it worked. Just needed new straps.
Nothing planed for today. So will just let it happen.

Morning all.
