Hope Alfie will be okay soon. I am still waiting for my vet to call back with Holly’s booster appt., as when I spoke to them weeks ago they had a shortage of both vaccines and vets and were working through a backlog. Maybe I ought to give them a reminder call.
Expecting sis in about half an hour, so best get cracking. Have a good day.
Has evolution of human kind removed a sense of humour from man and every other gender as it seems Edinburgh vegans are furious about a sign outside a butcher’s that says ‘every day thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians. Help end the violence and eat meat’ Angry Edinburgh vegans have slammed an “ignorant**”** sign put outside a butchers.
Of course the home of all those offended by pretty much everythng these days Twitter has been inundated with angry tweets.
Good morning all.
Back from my weekly Sainsbury’s shopping. I really did not need a lot and got what I wanted except for the pickled sliced cucumbers. But still have 2 jars.
What to do today? I wonder if my vacuum cleaner still works?
Good morning all, a nice bright morning here with just a hint of frost, so looks like being a pleasant day.
I have nothing to do apart from making a blueberry cheesecake so I may start off a few of my onion seeds on the windowsill and possibly put the brush through the dogs, but nothing else planned.
Sorry to hear you’re still in pain Susie, sending yet more (((hugs)))
Good morning all.
The sun is shining, the sky is blue, there is frost on the grass, and it is very cold.
So, glad to be back indoors.
Not got a lot planed for today apart from some chicken to cook.
My daughter is coming home tomorrow, well she leaves later today, and lands tomorrow.
On my iPad I have to hold the number button down and pull to the end.
Dropped the dog off at 9.30 (was running late) and got the bus to Gt Yarmouth. Bought a fair bit, to sis’s Sainsburys (she went in to her shift after I’d left), and then the bus home. Indoors by 3, to a welcome cuppa.
Just catching up on a few Paul O’Grady dog progs, before collecting my own soon. She won’t let me watch.
Just the cafe meeting this morning, with one of the ladies, then later today I should have a search for the slippers my sister changes into when she arrives. Can’t see them anywhere…
Oh, that saga with her gas top up cards? A second one turned up on Tuesday. I replied, one has to be the original, sent out end December. Advised her to keep a hold of it, as a spare. As we were texting late last night, to my query, were the letters dated, she answered she was too tired and would look today. Might give us an idea which one turned up first.
Barry, how are Alfie’s ears?
I was so cold last night at home. Hurry up, spring!
Thanks for asking Jan, his ears are responding to the jolup from the pet shop but the worst thing for him is that we are gradually having to pluck the hairs from his ear canal to aid his recovery, but it’s not a pleasant job for either of us as you can imagine!
Good morning all, another bright but cold day on the cards here. No plans other than a visit from my mum and eldest daughter for lunch, and Rosemary will be cutting and styling Mum’s hair for her, as she stopped going to the hairdresser during lockdown as she felt vulnerable in the salon.
Good morning all.
Yes cold and frosty here and the ground is frozen so there was no Minnie’s muddy feet to be washed when we got back.
My daughter has arrived back and is still at Gatwick. I can check her movements on phone or iPad.
I also can check the flight movements, which I do.
Modern technology is wonderful.
Nothing really planed for today, so will just let it happen.
