Morning all, much milder here and the snow has now melted thank goodness.
Nothing exciting happening here today, just the usual odd jobs and dog walks, but maybe something interesting will happen… I live in hopes…

Just back from Sainsbury’s. Why oh why do they keep shifting things around? Just trying to find my usual stuff, becomes a sort of treasure hunt. Even some of the staff don’t know and sent me to where the things used to be. Very frustrating.
I could not find any barley or nappy sacks that I use for poo bags. Not for me, but Minnie.
Nothing else planed, so just let it happen.

Not very nice out there today. Cold and damp, with I bit of light rain chucked in.
What to do today is the question? But can I be bothered to do anything.
I did make a load of vegetable soup yesterday. It contained, carrots, parsnips, onion, sweed, vegetable stock, and pinch of pepper. When cooked and cooled down, I blended it and then but it into zip lock bags. Kept some in the fridge and froze the rest.
Morning all, nothing planned other than a trip go outpatients at the hospital, maybe watch a film this afternoon.

BT came a day early (expected tomorrow PM), confirmed it was a damaged cable nearby, now repaired, and about 50 of us still had no phone. He soon had me sorted out.
Emjay, I sometimes use the nappy sacks for the dog. Very cheap, aren’t they? But PaH had a pack of 200 of their own for £1.
So, that’s me now fully up to date with the internet social media. My iPad wouldn’t tether to the phone due a weak signal, so I was restricted to FB, this forum (briefly) and emails when I could download them, on the mobile.

No snow here but very cold with a blue cloudless sky.
Plans for today??? Don’t know yet. Thinking about sorting out my document case and clearing out the old stuff to make more room for the stuff I have laying around.
Also time to change my bedding, but will wait until my daughter comes so she can help with the duvet cover.

Still piddling down here but maybe it will shift the snow. Holly has been out the garden several times, maybe looking for the cats, but she is not keen on this type of weather.
Typed and printed my list, gathered some cards together and will shortly have a look at what I have, see if I need to buy any more. Will no doubt need some stamps.
Cooked the marinaded chicken legs, and might buy some chips from round the corner to have with them shortly.
Haha, it used to be page 3 Susie but these days I build things mainly from balsa wood, both from kits and from imagination which helps to keep my mind active and my fingers busy…

Not sure what I fancy doing today. Whether it will be actually writing the cards, or finding something else to occupy my time. Already visited sis this week while she is on leave but expect I will see her again before Tuesday. I have a few library books ready to go back but no rush, as started another yesterday.

Thinking what to do or must be done here.
I have got to change the duvet on my bed again as yesterday I put on the summer one instead of a winter one. Stupid boy.
Made a bread yesterday. The last ones I made were sort of ‘heavy’ and I put it down to the yeast that had died. Yes yeast is a live thing. All back to normal now as I opened a new tin of it.

We use Allinsons dried yeast Emjay, always seems to work OK…
That’s also what I use. Barry. £1 a tin.
