Don’t worry, Rob did all the heavy lifting, I just empty the clothes out of the drawers and put them in the store cupboard and Rob took the Dresser and two Cupboards out into the Garage until the BHF people come tomorrow to pick them up.

Good morning all. Its freezing outside so wrap up warm if you are going out.
New Men are coming this morning to rectify the Conservatory from the mess they have made, if its not upto my standards then I won’t be paying the Company.
Funiture arrived and one of the Men dropped the Dresser and damaged it all, so had to order another one, but told me to keep this one, will probably stick it in the Garage, it was really heavy and one of the Men lifted it out of the Lorry by himself, so stupid, they came all the way from Wales as well.

Susie, normal companies would have a two man delivery team. Was this one trying to cut costs? I’ll be wary now about ordering anything from them. Wayfair, wasn’t it? What an idiot of a man, thinking he could manage it alone.
Housework for me today, going round with the hoover. And I also need to find a plumber who is willing to come round and see to my dripping mixer tap. I expect they are all busy right now, with winter related problems. I will try the bloke first who has been here a few times, and knows the house (he installed the boiler). But even he can be unreliable, if baby care is involved.

Yes cold windy and a bit of rain. So it was a quick walk around the fields,
I went with my daughter to Hatton garden yesterday. We went by train from Chingford. Where I met her at this station, I went by bus to there.
It only takes 27 minutes to Liverpool st station. We then got a cab to where we needed to be. Did what we had to do, and decided to walk back to the station. My daughter wanted to go to Hotel chocolate, that was in Cheapside.
It was quite an interesting walk as there has been so many changes since I last worked there.
Today? Nothing planed, so just let it happen.
Morning all, lashing down with rain here so it was a miserable drive to Tesco for the weekend shop, but home now and having a brew whilst I wait for my bread to rise.
Nothing planned but a short walk with the dogs if it brightens up later.

The Conservatory Men are here now, they have said what a terrible job has been done, hopefully it will be done today.
Hope they get it sorted Susie, nothing worse than paying good money for poor quality workmanship…

I am now going into hibernation. Yes it is cold in my part of the world. It did rain in the night but of course it did not affect me snuggled up in a warm bed.
Already been out with Minnie, first lot of laundry about to finish.
So for the rest of the day I shall just let it happen.

First dog walk done, rather hurriedly. No time for sniffing!
After breakfast I need to go out to Screwfix, a few miles away. Shall get my new kitchen tap then when the plumber calls round tomorrow (recommended from Susie), he can fit it, he said. Then will go into the nearby Aldi for some food items.
Then hopefully after second dog walk about lunchtime I too can hibernate for a few hours.

Done my morning stroll with Minnie around the fields. Even saw and spoke to the organiser of the football crowd.
Got a bread making that I did first thing this morning.

Thank goodness we have a clear sky right now. I was beginning to think that weather would never stop. Tried to make Holly wait the afternoon and early evening (she did wee out the back path earlier) but not long after we left the house, we got the steady light rain, which soaked us both. Argh!
I want the library today. Some books are due back and are reserved by others. Also, as I’d sat on and split in two the case for my long distance specs, I need to find a new one. Expect Wilko is my best bet. Will have to pay for 2 hrs parking then, rather than the free 30m, so best make it worth my while.

Nothing much for me today, just a trip to Halfords to get a new battery fitted to the car, so maybe an easy afternoon making something in the hobby room.

I have been watching Universe with Brian Cox, on iPlayer. Interesting but also frightening. But I don’t expect I will be around when maybe these things happen.
