Very cold here too, only 3C with a strong north wind blowing, making it feel as if itâs below zero!

Not going out today either, enough shopping, whatâs done is done! 
Just need to pop out every now and then to fetch firewood.

I have just been out to deliver cards to some of my neighbours, and then walked around the block.
My daughter tells me that we are going to Sainsburyâs later as she just wants a few bits.
The kitchen floor has been done, took about 3.5 hours. A good job and quite satisfied, because it did not cost me anything. (Well a bottle of red wine)
The flooring was free and my daughter paid for the work.
Later this afternoon I will be getting a visit from my son and accompanied annual visit of his kids.

I donât know what that was all about in my yesterday post. I expect I pressed the wrong buttons.
It was a good day for me yesterday. I now have another three jumpers.
Lots of bird food,
Biscuits,
Cashew nuts,
A Wally kit to build.
And Turkey for sandwiches.
I am hoping that my s.i.l and grandson are coming here later to take away the old remnants of the fence.
This they can burn at the farm. No not the one at the IOW, but the other one.
I think Lisa my cleaning lady might be coming this morning as well.

Boxing day is suppose to be full of sales in the shops, no shops are open apart from Morisonâs, Sainsburyâs etc. and no buses here either.

I will not be doing the usual lunch with my daughter at Morrisons, but will be going to her house for dinner this evening.

A boring Sunday in store. Sausage, mash, onion, beans and gravy for lunch. No roast today. Visit to the shop after 12 noon to see our friend. And thatâs about it.
Will need to go out tomorrow as I need bread.
