Not looking forward to walking to the retail park this morning, but as I will be going along the old train lines, it might be sheltered from the wind. Itās below street level with trees either side of the path. Will get plenty of shopping and a cab back.

Well, that was ok. Half hour of steady walking got me there. Did 4 stores, tea n toast in Morrisons cafe then phoned for the cab. I seem to have spent lots, lol.

Staying home with Holly today as Iāve left her every day this week so far. Cooked some turkey yesterday (it was a breast not a crown, as I told other social media users), and as it was rather delicious will do a roast today, to use some up. The rest I will properly portion up and freeze. Just annoyed I forgot to look for some red cabbage mix.
I need to contact my car insurers this morning as their computer generated an auto renewal. Wouldnāt mind but (a) it was for the courtesy (hire) car and (b) nearly Ā£200 on last yearās price. Oh and (c) I no longer have a car.

It is very cold out, and I see frost on the tops of cars and windscreen.
But I still had to get the steps out and put one of my security cameras back up as it has been charged up last night.
I donāt know what plans my daughter has for us this morning. Hopefully not a lot.
It has been incredibly cold today! Out with the dog earlier I was amazed to see a bloke walking about wearing shorts, and girls on the way to school with bare legs. Pfffft. Idiots.

The laminate is what my friend down the road had over when she had her dining room done.
From what I have seen there is more than enough for my kitchen.

I am having to go to Sainsburys later as tomorrow I have a bloke coming to do my kitchen floor. We went and picked up the laminate yesterday from my friend down the road, as she had loads over from when she had her lounge done.
