I have just managed to walk down to the Sea Wall on my own without any help or aids for support, it was very painful but I did it.
Bought Coco a new Litter Tray with a Roof over, she came out of under the bed, poked her head inside it had a sniff around, then went back under the bed.
Good morning all, another day here with the Workmen making a lot of noise.
Coco our cat is a lot better this morning, eating well and going to the toilet in her new tray.
I feel not too bad, still in pain but can get around more.
After my tumble yesterday I took plenty of pain killers, and applied pain relief gel before bed also, and slept well for a good few hours, then on and off, till the alarm at 7.30.
The lady who sold the house to me, we met up at the cafe then she came back here to look round. I opened the back door for her to go out, I stepped onto the mat in my socks, and my foot slid so down I went onto my bottom. The very same one which is still trying to heal from August 2020! So Iāve not done that any good. I was shaking so much she had to help me up. Pulled muscles everywhere but I am not feeling so bad this morning. Plenty of pain killers orally, and pain relief gel over the affected areas.
Glad Coco and Susie are better today.
I want the Range and the big Morrisons this morning, and sis hopes to meet me at the first. She has a nurse appt so unsure when she can get away.
Good morning all.
Cold and damp here though not raining.
Still a pleasant walk with Minnie round the fields.
I may be going out later with my daughter to Hatton garden as she has had some jewellery repaired. She is waiting for a phone call to confirm it is ready.
I have an apointment tomorrow to see the specialist about my knee/s. I was hoping that I would get the injection in my left knee as the is worst one at the moment.
My gp surgery just rang, saying Iāve not had a blood test for two years. I agreed that was quite possible. Booked in for 9.30am tomorrow, then they can put through my repeat med request. I was asked, do I know when I run out? I replied yes, it is on my calendar. Wednesday. She was impressed.
But now I have to call the surgery by about Tuesday, when I am out in Norwich, to see if anyone has authorised it.
Barry, yes, no serious injury to myself, just an added pain to my already sore buttock.
Just the nurse this morning, for my blood test. No immediate plans for anything else. I have a reserved book ready to collect, but it can wait a few days. I need to speak to the staff, to see if they can remove the text notification. It always comes through about 6am. I am still sleeping then, or trying to, so donāt appreciate the disturbance.
Good morning all.
It is a miserable day here at the moment. Dull and overcast.
I actually spoke to someone as I walked around the fields a short while ago. It was the caretaker of the school.
Off later to the hospital either to see the specialist and hoping that I can get the knee injections.
When I last visited my GP, he said that he can do these injections. Maybe I should have taken up his offer. But in the hospital they do it with an ultrasound and can see what they are doing.
On the way back I shall go to the chemist in Morrison to get my meds. Should be ready as I took in the prescription on Monday.
As for my repeats, I was surprised that somebody at the surgery had already authorised them, as I was giving blood for the review test. So thankfully I can collect whenever Superdrug have them ready. Might wait till Monday, and collect a reserved library book as well.
As I tossed and turned most of the night, insomnia and body pain, I wonāt do much else after I go for my booster jab. Have to drive a few miles up the A47 to Gorleston as this was the only available venue, at the time of booking.
Good morning all.
All I saw at the hospital yesterday was the specialist. No injections. He is going to get me an appointment in 2 or 3 weeks time for them.
Now I regret not taking my GPs offer for him to do it. It would have been done and dusted by now.
Nothing yet planed for today. Donāt know if my daughter is coming. She has to go out. But might see her later.
Weather here is dull and boring. Nothing appertaining to the unusual was happening when I did my walk Minnie around the fields.
Laundry doing at the moment.
Keep well you lot and may your suffering be light.
Good morning all.
As predicted it is cold out. But the sun is shining and the sky is blue. I can see the moon in the West.
Just got to play around with my front of the house security camera. I have got to reset the main detection zone.
Nothing else planed for today, so just let it happen.
Good morning all, cold and bright here, looks like being a nice day apart from that chill northerlyā¦
Back from our walk now and after a brew Iāve got to take a sticking door off and plane it down a couple of mil to ease it. Nothing much else planned but the conservatory and a book may call later on if the sun warms up the place.
Sorry to hear that you ladies are still suffering, hope it eases soon for youā¦
We both got wet, with our coats and her harness n lead hanging up to dry. I am back in the bedroom, ready to crawl back into bed after I finish my cuppa. Just taken first pain killers of the day.
Whatever needs doing can wait a day or so. I will be walking about on Tuesday in Norwich, but might try and plan my visit to my advantage.
Donāt feel too good this morning, last night had restless legs in bed, didnāt fall asleep until 4.30am then up again at 6am. Now iām sneezing and got toilet problems.
