Emjay, have you seen the latest council plans for Sainsburys? They want to build 430 flats on the supermarketās car park!! Wow. I canāt understand the plan put up on FB, and not sure if they want to demolish the existing store and rebuild.

That is the first that I have heard of that Jan. Why would they demolish Sainsburyās as they have recently added Specsavers and of course they have Argos. Also enlarged the clothes department.
Weather here is mild but cloudy and I did feel some moisture in the air.
Not a lot to do today, so as always, just let it happen.

The plans are impossible to understand. Some bloke answered my questions on FB saying they are not really demolishing the present store. The council also wants to build on top of Wilko in the high street, āto include retail spaceā. Whenever they say things like that it means demolishing and rebuilding. I will put the big pc on later, and see if I can get a link to the plans, and the blokeās answer.
WM on this morning (which is damp, btw), and might take myself off somewhere later. Not been to Asda for awhileā¦
Tomorrow, the coffee group co host and I are trying the over 60s lunch club in town, though she isnāt really eligible. She was told, elsewhere, that despite that, she would be welcome, so when I called to book, I checked again. Should be two courses for Ā£5.
They do a variety of things, like bingo, line dancing, and when I phoned there was loud music going on. I reckon if I didnāt have Holly Iād be in there often, lol.
Uh ohā¦sounds like mouthy neighbour is playing loud music. I really must speak to them again about that. She made Holly bark this morning and get unsettled, just by getting out of her car, lol.

Damp is the way I would describe the weather here. Not raining though.

. I found a half dead flea on Minnie yesterday. So I suppose the treatment is working. But I sprayed the carpets and furniture. Also realised the the spot on the back of the shoulder treatment has been used up, so ordered more on line yesterday and should arrive today.
Right. Orders of today. Going to cook chicken thighs (4) with carrots, onion, stock cubes, pinch of pepper, and 1 litre of water. That will be for 2 lunch meals. Today and Saturday.

I apply Johnsonās 4Fleas, and always make sure I buy a new pack when I use the second treatment. Pets at Home stock them. As for spraying, I have RIP Fleas, recommended by my cat owning allotment friend. (Psst, *whispersā¦seems it might keep spiders at bay too. Shh, donāt shout it.). If, though, I fall behind on treatment, and see any on her, I use the electric shock comb. Kills āem stone dead! When you can catch āem, that is.

Back from doing the Tesco shop now and watching it rain whilst having a coffee, the dogs will have to wait a bit although they are pacing around me menacingly wanting their walk. Nothing much on my agenda apart from Rosemary trimming my curls before tackling a couple of minor repairs indoors.

I am just back from the morning walk around the fields. Weather is dull and there is a fine dampness in the air.
I have not found anymore fleas on Minnie and have been combing her. I donāt really know where that one came from.
When I had the other Jack Russell, she used to be prone to attracting them. It was a game catching them and crushing them on the fur.
Got my first Christmas card yesterday.
Not a lot planed for today, except going to my daughter for dinner this evening.

Oh heck Emjayā¦people sending out cards already? My sisterās niece by marriage would always race to be the first to send, but now we have both moved I might not be on her list anymore. I have family and friends cards, plus others, but they are staying in the sideboard till an appropriate time.
I might go to PaH and Morrisons at some point. In reality I just want to go back to bed, lol. Still, I suppose just sitting here on the iPad isnāt helping much so will get a shift on.

I am so tired this morning, I have been up most of the night with the Cat being sick and pooing in our bedroom, she is ok now and gone back to sleep, but iām so tired.

Morning Susie, hope your cat is ok now, our Oscar had pretty much the same thing on Thursday, but it doesnāt surprise us any longer with the strange things that he eats when outā¦! Thankfully though he isnāt ill that often, must have an asbestos lined tummyā¦ lol
Morning everyone, much milder here today and a dry forecast so Iāll be having a tidy up in the garden later on then Iām going to attempt to bake teacakes this afternoon for tea.

Late on parade again, but I have my excuse ready.
I had to help my neighbour over the road get his car started. I had just finished my breakfast when he came over. He is going to get rid of it and has been sitting on his drive for ages.
I have a starter booster for flat or even dead batteries,like what they use in some garages. ( bought it years ago to use for when my cabs would not start.)
So that put me out.
I then had to get Minnie out around the fields before the football crowd came, which they did just as I got back in.
Laundry had to be done, that is doing now.
My daughter is coming later and wants to drag me out to go somewhere.
Weather here is sunny with the early clouds breaking up.
