Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

That’s nice Cat and Dog getting on together.

Good morning all, Hubby forgot to put the clocks back last night, so we are all up an hour earlier, even confused our Cat, who got up as normal but we were still in bed.

Have a nice day all.

Morning Susie, we always put the clocks back next morning and get up half an hour later to split the difference, works for us anyway.

Morning all, tipping down with rain here now and forecast till lunchtime. I just have to go to the pet shop later on for some jollop for Alfie’s ears as it looks like he has mites in one of them, but nothing else planned yet for today.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone

Morning all.

Nice photo, Emjay.
Barry, hope you can get what you need for Alfie.

I never worry about the change in clocks. I get up when I feel like it, and do the changes later, if I can be bothered. I had a bad night anyway, couldn’t sleep for hours, had a painful hip so took painkillers, and then ‘overslept’. Got up at 8.30 old time, took a cuppa back to bedroom with my first tablets, sat by the window.

Doing a roast today, with minted lamb swirls (photos in good morning thread). Whenever I spot them in the bigger Morrisons, I buy about half a dozen, cut some in halves, then freeze in 1&1/2 portions.

No other specific plans, let’s see what happens, or needs to be done.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Good morning all.
I took advantage of the extra hour, and stayed in bed.
As like everywhere the weather is rubbish. Minnie did a quick dash into the garden, and back in again.
I will try and take her out later if and when the rain eased off.
Chicken for lunch with veggies.

We were only out about 5 minutes and it started spitting, so I hurried her with the last of her toilet and got her back home. Didn’t even make it as far as end of the road to the bin, lol. (In that case, the bag goes in the front garden till later.) it is now raining heavier so we got out in time.

Both now enjoying breakfast.

Morning all.

A fairly busy morning yesterday, then later when it dried up we went out for a longer dog walk. The first two outings were in light spit, so we didn’t hang about.

Might do the library again today. Of the two books I took out last week, I have one in paperback, and the other I read over the weekend. Had a notification that others are due back, not read them, so might get rid of all (bar one, which I started last night) and start again.

Morning peeps, still blowing here but stopped raining now at least. Nothing special on my agenda yet but no doubt something will turn up.

Enjoy your day

Good morning all.
Wow! Blue sky and sun was in my eyes when I went out with Minnie a short while ago.
Got a bread making that should be finished at 0950am. Then going to walk, yes that’s right, walk to Morrison to take a prescription into the chemist there.
After that when I get home, I might have to lie down for a bit. :flushed:.
Nothing else planed yet.

Susie will be missing for a day or two. Her IP is having an outage. She initially blamed her router but when she said she’d been on the phone to Vodafone I replied ‘ah, I’ve been reading about them on FB. Other people have lost their internet too.’

So she will be back whenever they’ve resolved the issue.

And I’m having a ‘time’ issue with my Sky+ box (which they know about and are working to resolve). It hasn’t changed on the Planner from the clocks going backwards. I Googled it and found a forum where subscribers were saying things like ‘I’ve paid my money, sort it!’ And one or two said the same as I thought, it’s not the end of the world!

Emjay, I’m not surprised you would want a lie down after that walk. Just getting from the road to the store is long enough, let alone adding on your own road!

Morning all.

Off to our weekly coffee group meeting from 11, then might go off to check out another venue after. It’s another cafe, but they hold craft sessions. I am not confident it will suit our needs, pretty sure it is still small. We are rumoured to be many this week, so a lot of work for the cafe staff.

Good morning all.
Just back from Sainsbury’s for my weekly shop. Got most things I needed, but there was none of the normal treats that I get for Minnie. I shall have to try and fool her with cut up Smakaroos.
Just thinking what else I can do today outside, as the sun is out on a cloudless blue sky for now. I really need to drag the Lilly out of the pond and cut it down some.

Good morning peeps, sunny and bright here but quite chilly first thing.

Back from a smashing walk through the forest, which always lifts the spirit, and now having a well earned brew. No plans for later as I had planned myself a lazy day, but it seems such a waste so I may seek out a job in the garden.

Have a pleasant day everyone

Morning all, back on-line once again, i’m still alive and kicking.
Went to my GP this morning for test results on my Diabetes and Platelets with excellent results.

Have a nice day all.

Good news Susie… :+1:

Good morning all, its cold but dry outside.
Going to try and get into Town this morning with Hubby, need to go to Morrison’s, QD, Iceland and Card Factory, hopefully I might make it with my Stick and a Barrel.
Have a nice day all.

Good morning all.
Fresh out. That’s the best way I can describe it. The frosty grass that crunches underfoot. The sun can be warm in the sheltered areas of the field.
I even met a lady on the field that works in the school also enjoying an early stroll. ( seen her before).
Right. Plan for today, is to take a walk to Morrison to pick up my meds, and maybe wander around the store.
Going this evening to my daughter for dinner.

Good morning everyone, cold start here, no frost but now raining heavily.

Just a couple of jobs to do outside later if it stops but nothing much else planned.

Enjoy your day folks

Its lovely outside now, the sun is bright and quite mild.
