Just showered and have a few minutes for my greetings.
I’d like another bread maker, but I also want a food mixer (not a processor) yet don’t really have room for either. Items I could live without, maybe, yet think a food mixer could make life a little easier for some things.
Good luck with the camera Susie. I still couldn’t find that model anywhere.
I have a Roku tv stick to install onto my back room tv, but don’t have a spare power socket, if there is insufficient power to be drawn from the tv, via usb. That in itself could take time to resolve.
Gotta dash soon, to get to the coffee group for 11.
Got 9am appointment with the Vampire Blood Bank this morning, 4 little containers of blood to be tested, 1 for my Diabetes, and the other 3 for Full Blood Count for my Low Platelets.
Good morning everyone, just waiting for it to get a little lighter before taking the dogs out, and later on our eldest daughter is visiting us for lunch so I’ll be cooking her favourite curry dish. Nothing planned other than that, but there is always weeding if I get desperate… lol
Good morning all.
So plans for today. ???
Well I might be going to the group called ‘Tea and company’. Yes it is a FREE LUNCH. Tea, coffee, sandwiches and cake, and a natter for about an hour. Last time I went I was the only bloke there. I had a message from one of the ladies for some information, and asked if I will be coming there?
Got to cook my weekly chicken and vegetables later.
Done the morning walk as usual with Minnie.
Weather here again is gloomy but dry. Still windy.
Good morning all, nice and mild here again and no rain, so no complaints here…
Not much on my agenda just a trip to the tip with garden waste and a visit to see Mum on the way back, so may do some weeding this afternoon if I can get motivated…
Have a pleasant day everyone
I bought my memory card in Argos, for the phone. Wanted to exchange Nectar points for it, but I hadn’t paired my card with Argos, apparently.
I can do without a SM and PaH visit for another day, so might go to town, into the library, and can get bread and milk in Iceland or M&S. I want to have a look at the green grocers, who have moved from their stalls into a shop, to see if their selection is better. I usually buy my kohl rabies from them but they have been too expensive recently.
Emjay, a free lunch? Wow, sounds good to me. I’d like to try the over60s club by the library. A fiver gets you a main and dessert. And they do other things like line dancing. One of our coffee group ladies gave that a try.
Good morning all.
It is also not too bad here weather wise. Cloudy coming from the south, but not that cold.
I think I am loosing it. I put on my chicken and veg to cook, normally give it an hour. But sitting in the lounge watching TV, I forgot about it. Just saved it with about an inch of liquid left in the saucepan.
The free lunch was good, and the organisers made it a Halloween theme.
Quite a few more people there and there were 4 blokes there including myself.
Went to Costco with my daughter in the evening. No porridge or Noodles. But did get big bag (1.5 lb) of salted cashews and another tub of honey.
A quick visit to the library, return a book I got yesterday, not realising I own the paperback, then on to Morrisons and PaH. If I’m quick (will only get 30m free parking), I will nip out to the high street, and take a few photos of the temp stalls there. Look good, but are too expensive for my liking.
Good morning all.
Raining here now but still had to get Minnie out for a quick walk around the fields as usual. I must be looked after, as the rain did ease off whilst out.
Nothing yet planed for today. So as usual, just let it happen.
It is very cold and windy here so after my dog walk I have decided no shopping trip for me today! Staying here in the warm, apart from other dog walks later.
Raining here right now. Holly is still in bed, but we will need to go out soon
Other than dog walks, I again plan on staying in. Shopping can wait another day (or two).
Will phone allotment friend, wish her a happy birthday, see if she got her card. And will write down all the debits due in November (rather a lot, on top of the usual monthly ones), and see whether I will need to transfer any funds in later.
Good morning all.
Not very good here though. Again I was lucky when I took Minnie out. It was raining lightly, but as I got back in it started to come down heavily.
Laundry day for me and first wash is just about to finish.
I went to my daughters for dinner last evening. Nice lamb and vegetables. I took Minnie with of course, and she gets on ok with the cat.
I might get the vacuum cleaner out later and do the upstairs. Also thinking about giving myself a haircut.
