It is looking a bit gloomy out this morning.
I did not fancy the mud, so just went for a walk around the block.
I don’t have any plans yet for today, except i shall make a roast, with potatoes in the air fryer.
I bought some silicon type trays for the air frier, they don’t do the chips much good. So I suppose they are only good if one is making cakes and such.
I’m ok, thanks Susie. Making the most of a dog free weekend.
I just read about your sister, Jazzi. I’m so sorry for your loss. Please take good care of yourself.

Good morning, no nice, peaceful weekend for us this week, our little 9 year old grandaughter’s spending it with us - it’s certainly entertaining…

The weather is not too bad this morning here. Overcast but not too cold.
Also off to do my weekly shop at Sainsburys when the traffic calms down a bit.
Although it is not too far and could walk, but not with the loaded bags I would have to carry home.
Later I have to go pick up a prescription from Morrisons chemist.

Just about midnight Monday here. Doing my fortnightly budget and it all tallies up even managing to save £150 toward that trip to the UK in July 2025…well thats the plan

Holly has come downstairs to join me, and is in her bed. Bit too dark to walk her just yet.
I’ll only have an hour in the cafe, seeing my friends, have something to eat, walk dog quickly, give her a bit of food, then go to sister’s house to see my nieces.

Sort of a miserable looking day here.
Excitement of the day will be this afternoon when I have to go for a blood test.
Before that, I expect that I shall accompany my daughter to Sainsburys later this morning.

I am a pin cushion this week it would seem.
Yesterday I went for a blood test. The Draculas daughter could not get any blood out of my left arm so she dug another needle into my right arm. She took 3 big tubes full.
This morning it’s off to the surgery for an 0830 appointment so that my doctor can stick another needle into my right knee, but this time I shall be getting something back into my knee joint.
So if I survive that, I shall then be going to the Wednesday AgeUK tea and chat.

I don’t need to be anywhere today, but let’s see. Yesterday in the cafe I was handed a pie and mash meal from the proprietor’s husband. She didn’t want payment because of my news (the other ladies having just told her).

Blue sky and sunshine here at the moment.
Yes the knee jab went well but painful. Without the cct scanner like what they have in the hospital, it’s a sort of guess where the stuff goes in.
Cleaning lady come this morning.
I have been researching more about Orchids, and am going to try to recuperate one of mine. Banana skin and rice water seems to be the medicine. I got a bag of repotting bark, and now just waiting for some moss to be delivered.
