Itâs a different morning today. Overcast and a cold wind.
Yesterday I was sharing some strawberries with my daughter. They had been washed. Suddenly my throat swelled up and I found it hard to swallow. She was ok, so am I now allergic to strawberries?
My throat is still a bit sore.
Plans for today.
As usual for Friday, it will be lunch at Morrisons, ( got to put in my prescription list at the chemist there). And this evening dinner at my daughterâs.

Strange, Emjay. Hope you can work it out. I have my allergy test on Tuesday. Will be gutted if itâs Holly causing my problems.
Started packing our cases this morning, before I decide on the dayâs plans. I have enough food for her (5 days worth). As I plan on buying clothes of some sort on Sunday I am keeping my case contents light. No thick towels, no iPad (charging Kindle).
I had thought of going to Morrisons but will try town instead. Will need money (some to pay the pet carer in cash, instead of bank transfer), and bread. A big shop can wait.
What time are you off tomorow Janet?
Emjay, it could be the pesticides they use on the Strawberries, plus they are from abroad as its too early for this Country to have strawberries.

Up about 6.30. Canât believe itâs now after 8.15. Will get Holly out after my coffee and tablets and collect her case, walk her down to the carer. Then I can finish up here indoors.

Laundry is being done, been for my stroll around the field.
My daughter says we are going for a browse around Loughton this morning. There is something we need to get from Robert Dyas.
That knee injection that I had on Wednesday. ??? It donât feel any different.
The strawberries drama. My throat feels ok now. I donât know what it was. As said, they do come from a forien source. Who knows what they do with them.

I donât have much planed for today. I shall go for a walk shortly, and later a sort of roast dinner.
I got what I needed and some other bits yesterday in Loughton. Itâs a good shopping area, and not so many shops closing as what I see in my local area.

Nice breakfast in Weatherspoons. Cheaper than P Inn. Now on bus, late, to retail park.
Had to resort to ear plugs gone 1, 2am. Incredibly noisy guests, for hours.

Itâs looks nice out at the moment.
I shall be going to Sainsburys shortly for my weekly shop.
I have been trying to fit new spring hinges on the doors of the cupboard under the sink.
I was finding it difficult to get down on the floor to do it.
So I asked my mate next door to help. Well he did a bit. But when I was out on Saturday, I got a set of new hinges (those spring ones.) I have fitted then on the door, and now I might have to rely on him next door to come and finish the job.
I hate having to rely on people to do things that in the past I could do myself.
I am thinking that with the help of my daughter, the job could be done.

I still have a few hours to spend in Norwich. Just having breakfast in Morrisons then will pop into city centre afterwards.
Agree about the body being weak, Emjay. I had a bath Sat in the P/Inn. Lovely it was, lying down full length. But the struggle getting out reminded me why I never usually bother. My one at home is too short anyway.
And I have even been groaning just getting out of bed. Being old sucks.

I canât get down on the floor full stop, nor in the bath, even have problems in bending over or putting my socks on.
Missed a train, drivers working to rule so facing nearly 2 hr wait. Another hr to go.

Thanks. Another busy day tomorrow. Cafe in the morning, then might deal with my Will amendment paperwork, to Paget for my allergy test, then Tescos on the way home.

Lounging on the sofa with first coffee/tablets, listening to the wind outside and knowing I will have minimum time outside in it. No dog walks.
Older sister reminded me I still have my Will alteration paperwork to attend to so will either deal with it between what I have to do today, or tomorrow morning when I have more time. I just have the accompanying letter to type up.
