Had a camera up nose and down throat but ok there. He suspects acid reflux so has prescribed two items (1 item being increased), but I canāt get paperwork to the gp without the car. Will either have to post it or try and drop it off Wed when taken to Hollyās groomer. He will also organise an allergy test. Then see him again 2 months after that.
In the meantime, because I am still wheezing, I will try the nurse practitioner again, ask for more advice.
For acid reflux try some squeezy lemon juice in a cup of water Jazzi. Lemon turns into an alkali and neutralises acid when ingested.
Proper lemon is best cut into slices or juiced.
Morning all.
Off to Dunelm this morning then onto Gorleston for shopping.
Have a nice day all.
Morning all.
Somebody in the paper suggested a banana after eating, for acid reflux.
Cafe meet this morning, after moving black bin into alley and dog walks. My excitement for the day.
Good morning all.
So I braved a walk around the field. It was so crunchy underfoot. It need the roller over it as walking is not easy. The ground gets churned up by the footballers when it is muddy.
In the past, they would not have been allowed to play when the ground was like that. But when the council took it over, itās all about money.
Off to Sainsburys later with my daughter.
At last I received that ādead treeā format book that I ordered.
Although it is obtainable in Ebook format, I could not find it.
The other day for free, I downloaded all of the works of Leo Tolstoy, on to my Kindle. That should keep me going for a while.
Good morning all, its dry outside and no frost.
Having a cooked breakfast today for breakfast/lunch at the Coast Restaurant, then going on to the Charity shop to give them a box full of Ornaments and a bag of clothes.
My new Sideboards comes on Friday.
Have a nice day all.
Good morning all.
Very overcast this morning so no frost. But still very cold out.
As for a Wednesday it is the ageUK coffee and chat group.
For the rest of the day, I shall just let it happen.
Morning all.
Having taken the details of another plumber whilst in the cafe, I decided to try my own bloke. Called him at 7.30pm, he answered, and the upshot is, my boiler is still in warranty so heās organised a call out with Baxi, scheduled for Friday.
Today I will just switch my car engine on, make sure it still goes. I did try it last week to try and show my neighbour the noise.
In other news, my little sis will start dialysis next week. She came home from Norwich late last night so I will talk to her this morning.
Friend picking me and Holly up at 1.30, will drop her at groomers, then friend and I are off to the carvery. When we pick the dog up we will stop off at my gp surgery so I can drop in the prescription request from the hospital.
Good morning all.
Cold aināt it?
It suddenly occurred to me that I must be mad. Why do I need to go out and walk around a frozen field so early in the morning?
When I can just wander around the many other interesting places that are here later when it has warmed up a bit.
Cleaning lady comes this morning.
Morning all.
Car is on its way to Nissan.
But the better news? My younger sis is now on her way to Addenbrooks for her kidney transplant. I am finding it hard to settle and calm down, as I am concerned about the cats, and if there is enough in her gas and electric meter! I could always get a taxi round to top up but I donāt know how to check the balances. And there is no shop nearby to do so. Itās a flipping long walk.
For my Facebook friends, please, do not mention sister on there on my profile. Not until she herself says something, or her children do. Thank you.
Just having breakfast.
She has put it up on her FB profile now.
Surgery has been cancelled. Tests on the new kidney show it cannot be used,
That a real shame Janet, about the Kidney transplant.
Hope they find one soon.
Thanks Susie, yes thatās unfortunately the case a lot of the time. They might do a tissue match but then the hospital, when they receive the organ, need to test it can be used. She said the blood wasnāt flowing freely and it was damaged.
Sorry to hear that Janet, but the next one could be the one.
Thanks Kazz.
Morning all.
Had a text confirming Baxi engineer will be here sometime today, just waiting for his appointment time call. Just as well I got everything done and have no need to be out, apart from dog walks.
Think Iāll change my bed linen though. Oooh, how exciting.
Sister must have got home late last night (most probably awaiting transport) so will talk to her later. I wanted to let her rest. I took Holly out before 8.30 and we were in bed by 9. I was so tired.
Good morning all.
Sorry to hear about your sister Jan, I hope that 5hey find a suitable match soon.
Itās going to be an eating out day for me.
Lunch as usual at Morrisons, and maybe a bit of shopping.
Got an appointment at 2.30 to see the nurse at the surgery for the annual feet test and blood pressure.
Then this evening there is dinner at a restaurant as it is my grandsonās girlfriendās fatherās birthday. (Mine tomorrow).
Will that then be a double birthday celebration, Emjay? Have a lovely time, and happy birthday for tomorrow.
Thanks for your kind words re my sister.
Good morning all. Its sunny but frosty outside.
Emjay, is that a Diabetic Foot test? Good luck.
Emjay, are you 21 again tomorrow?
Janet, hope your Sist is ok.
Have a nice day all.
