That rain last night was not nice. Holly and I got rather wet!!
If itâs dry this morning I might take her to the cafe with me. The lady who had moaned about her wonât be there. Yay. But saying that, I am running late this morning. Nearly 9 and Iâm nowhere near ready to get her out on her first walk. Best see to that.
Good morning from me.
Just back from Sainsburyâs for weekly stock up.
It was a very fine rain earlier when I took Minnie out. Very overcast and horrible now. Not cold though.
I went to Morrison to pickup the medication for the injections on Thursday. They had no reference to it. Phoned Surgery and explained the situation. I had to give my phone to one of the chemist staff, they was given a barcode, and the medication was forthcoming and given to me.
Going out again shortly to my friend for lunch. I have bought bramley apple pies for desert. Should go nice with icecream.
Yes, itâs getting heavier. Hope when I get the dog out she doesnât hang about. I think not, seeing as she didnât toilet on two walks last night, last one being at 10.
I too will then stay home. Not going to the library in this. I have other things I could find to do/other books to read, downloaded two onto the Kindle yesterday at 99p each, with still a lot more unread on there.
Good morning all.
It has stopped raining now but it still looks like it could start again. I have just got back from the morning stroll with Minnie around the fields.
I am expecting my friend here later, and I am going to take her to the chemist that is doing a walk in for the flue jab.
I have got mine with the Dr tomorrow when he does the finger and thumb injections.
Morning all, early rain forecast didnât happen but thunderstorms forecast for later but weâll seeâŚ
Back from our walk now and wasting an hour with a coffee and catching up on here before putting together a flat pack of drawers for the bedroom, nothing else plannedâŚ
Hope youâre all well, and that you have a good day
Holly and I got absolutely soaked, because the rain started up again a few minutes after leaving home. I needed to get to the waste bin a few streets away, and then we stood under a shopâs front porch while the lady inside got me an expensive pint of milk. I then thought we had no choice but to get straight home and get us both dry. Everything is now hanging up, including my shoes. Oh heck, I can see a bit of blue sky in the distance. ArghâŚ
Good morning, had been raining all night, stopped now.
Off out at 8.15am to the Hospital to speak with the Back Specialist for 1 hr. see what he is going to do next for me, hopefully he will suggest Surgery, but I donât hold my breath.
Have a nice day all.
Good morning all from me. Early one today as got an appointment with Dr 0830, for jabs in my hand and also get the flue jab.
Weather here is windy, cold, but has stopped raining.
Hoping my coat has eventually dried off from yesterdayâs downpour. Up until the late evening it hadnât. My shoes have been on the rad since then and have, but I might need my wellies. Such a nuisance, this rain, trying to get everything dry, which includes the dog coat and harness. I had to use her collar for the other walks.
A chicken casserole to start off afterwards, in the slow cooker. Use up some stuff in the fridge. Using just breast fillets, so no fiddly bones and skin to remove.
Hope all is going well and satisfactorily for Susie at her appt.
Good morning all.
Yes the steroid injections went well as did the flu injection. The injections in the hand really did hurt and made me flinch as it hit the spot.
There is no after effect from the flue jab, and although my daughter and friend said that their arms ached for a day, not I.
I have got to go to pick up a referral letter from the Dr for my knee injection that will be done at a local private hospital under the NHS.
Weather here is dry, bright, but very cold.
Glad Emjay is done, re injections. Ouch, I felt that!
Itâs a chilly wind today. I have the church concert to go to, a bloke playing the organ and piano this time. Only 45m thankfully, and if I take the car, I can shoot off after to Morrisons. Far too cold to walk that distance.
Changed bed linen, hoovered the bedroom, and after a shower put WM on with a clothes wash. I am just fiddling about indoors now till time for Hâs quick outing before I go out.
Just phoned my surgery re the booster jab. I was told NHS England will send out invites. Just checked the website, and if we donât hear by 6m1w after the second jab, we can go online to book an appointment. My 6m is up this coming Sunday, so my deadline is next weekend. At least now I know I can keep an eye on the post/my calendar.
