I am feeling a bit better this morning. Not a lot though.
I now know how I contracted this cold. There was a man in Sainsburys on Monday last week and he was coughing close to me. I did turn and gave him a look.
As foe Thursday, I have the cleaning lady coming this morning.
Some afternoons I take a stroll around the houses.
Yesterday I saw this. It deserved a photo I thought.
It was across the road so with my phone I stated snapping as I got as close as I could before it went off.

Lunch and a bit of shopping in Morrison, and then dinner at hers this evening.
Lost my reading glasses somewhere this morning while in Asda. Thankfully found the new set at home that I should have worn after the April test. Had to hold the arms over a hot kettle to loosen them a bit, but at least I can now read.
Left my name and phone number with the store in case they are handed in.

More than a drizzle now. I’m scared to take the dog out as we will get very wet, then I have to go out again to drop her off round the corner at 10. I’ll see if she can wait a bit longer, then take her out just the once. I have her towel ready to take with her.
I wish I’d checked the weather forecast before agreeing to this, going out shopping. It is about an hour’s drive away, to a retail park with a big Sainsburys and The Range. Also a few others, PaH, M&S food hall, Boots etc., and lunch might be in McD.

Still coughing a bit, and I don’t think going to my daughter with her cat wandering about, helped much.
I don’t intend to do much today.
But my weekly laundry has to be done.

Everything went well with the stoma nurse yesterday. It was only a few minor things needed sorting out. I am needing a support belt to prevent a hernia. She is sending somebody to measure me up for one.
I’ve had a good lie in this morning.
After having a shower & washing my hair Tony & I will be doing the weekly shop this afternoon.
Dull wet weather here - nothing else planned.

Back from our shopping trip. Takes an hour each way to get to the Norwich retail park. It’s a fair ole way. But, we both spent loads in Sainsburys, and I had an equally big bill in The Range. There was 25% off clothes in S, so I found a pair of PJs and a night shirt, sis took some cash off me and got a further discount with her staff card.
It was too busy to consider lunch there so we got back on the road and stopped some miles from home for McD. Home by 2.45, she went home to feed her cats and go off for work, I collected Holly. The rain lasted for a good few hours and glad it’s stopped.

Popping over to sis around 11 for a coffee and chat. Yes I know I only saw her yesterday. I can see how she is getting on with her new iPad, if she wants any help. It’s her first. Gave her the case that arrived Friday, it formed part of her birthday present for February.
Might look in Aldi on the way home, see what’s new in the middle aisles, and maybe get more toilet and kitchen rolls. Can never have too much of that, eh?
Then when home I will need to move lots of yesterday’s shopping to the spare bedrooms, including the Christmas decorations. I have no plans for assembling the tree etc. just yet.

I am feeling much better and had a good nights sleep.
Whilst the sky was blue, I walked both the fields this morning. Dark clouds coming this way.
I think I might have a rat in the cupboard under the stairs.
I thought it was a mouse, but it did not go into the humane trap. It got moved about and not touched.
I put a poison block down last night and it was gone this morning.

Carol, good to see you looking well on the birthday video yesterday. Baby is beautiful.
No definite plans for today. Spose I should stay home, maybe hoover, having been out and about in recent days. Off into town on Thursday to attend a coffee meeting and could do library exchange. No rush till then.
