Raining. But because I wanted to go on my usual stroll round the field, it stopped whilst I did so.
Just gave myself a haircut. I might cut another one tomorrow. 
I donāt have any other plans for today, so will just let it happen.

Late getting up so not long had my first coffee (and I made another small one straight afterwards, needed it). Been out with the dog.
Will wash up after breakfast, prep my veg for my roast, which will have to be for later this evening now, but will try and do early if possible. Taking friend and her dog to the vet hospital for a 2pm appt, which kinda messes up my lunchtime plans. I would have to walk Holly before I leave, so wonāt have time to cook and eat it (and enjoy). I will ask her when she needs me next, hoping her friends can share with the daily visits. Also hope for her sake, and the dogās, it wonāt be for much longer. Bet heās fed up with it all.
Later, when relaxing in front of the telly, I might switch the laptop on, let it do all the updates and am considering buying office software for it via Groupon. The 2019 version will be cheaper and adequate, I should think. Hoping to get back to my writing projects during the long winter nights.

I am furious that Hollyās insurers have doubled the monthly premiums, from 33.88 to 67. What a piss take. Coincidence it is because I cliquier three times this year, getting their money back? Will look elsewhere and part company.
I have just been for a 1hr walk through the Village, it was not cold not like yesturday, its 10c, I enjoyed the walk, stopped and chatted to people on the way.

I had planned on going to the library, return a couple of books, then go on round to Asda, do a bit of shopping, and have an over 60s soup deal. But in this? Tsk, it can wait. Also glad my sister has paid someone to feed the cats while she is away visiting her daughter. Iām a wuss when it comes to being out in the rain.

Got Holly out about 8.30 as she was downstairs on the sofa. Thankfully toilets done in our road and then it started pelting it down. She pulled me across to our house to be let in. Brrrrr. As usual, dehumidifier on.

I had some cheap reading glasses delivered today.
They had good reviews so gave them a go.
They really work for me on my mobile and watch , not so good on the laptop because I tend to use that at a bigger distance.

This cold is still hanging on, and the cough is horrible and noisy.
I might go Sainsburys shopping with my daughter later. I am trying to get her to use the āquick checkoutā device. She now agrees that it is a faster way, when it goes ok.

Done the dog walk, finishing breakfast, then have an appt soon for the NP. Need to ask her to expedite my ENT referral.
One of the cafe ladies has invited me to hers for Christmas Day meal, which I have now accepted.

I an going to the AgeUK coffee and chat this morning. My daughter will be popping in there, as she has something for my cleaning lady, who I should be seeing tomorrow.

Changed Hollyās insurers, but as with a lot of the companies now, there is a Ā£100 excess on each claim and illness, not a one off. (Iāve been spoilt, havenāt I?). I will put money aside each month for future vet bills costing <Ā£100.
