I had my son come here yesterday evening, he went out and brought back fish and chips for both of us. We watched a film, ‘Oppenheimer’. Very long and confusing at the end.

The nasty neighbour had fireworks last night, loads of bits in my garden.
He and his friends were drunk and drugged up, very loud and obnoxious.
Unfortunately they managed to avoid injuring themselves.

We did have Fireworks going off, loads of Bangers, but it was only about 7pm.

Also off to Sainsburys shortly for my main weekly shop.
That is if I can get my car out, as at the moment there is a great big coach blocking my drive. It is waiting for the school kids to take them to the swimming pool.
I have had it before and when I need to get out, the driver is most cooperative.
Had an invite for tea and a chat, this afternoon by the lady who I take to the Wednesday club that lives down the road.

I was very cold earlier, getting the bin out to the alley. Must wrap up when I do the dog walk.

The only thing I have to do this morning, is to go to Argos in Sainsburys to pick up a parcel.
It is the grain in a cloth pouch that you heat up in the microwave and stick on the aches.
I think I told you about the one I had that went missing. Guess what, I found it.
Well that is how it works it would seem.
Order a new one, and the old one turns up.

Oh those flipping trick n treaters out yesterday evening…had both doors either side of me opening (or creaking/slamming) countless times. Glad when it calmed down.
Might get to the library today, return everything and start again.
After a week’s ban from the council we have been given permission back onto the allotments, but weather looks a bit suss. Thee are still skips in the car park so no cars allowed just yet till they’re removed. I know I have such a lot of work to do. First is to pull up rest of my carrots, check the few parsnips, then that back bit can be dug over. All welcome, with a spade and fork, lol.

It is pelting with rain here and I can’t go for my stroll.
So I shall do 10 minutes on my exercise bike.
I will still go to the Wednesday club though.

Took my friend and her dog yesterday afternoon to the vet about 8-9 miles away. Got there just in time for her appt. Poor Rossi, was pooing a lot of blood, in the car park, waiting room and consulting room. Vet thinks just something has upset his tummy, gave him two injections and sent mummy off with more meds. She and I were following Rossi around with paper, clearing up, and he kept doing wees too! Her son took her home afterwards which, given all that blood he had held onto in the car till we pulled up in car park, I wasn’t sorry about. But glad to have helped them both.
Staying home (I hope) this morning to wait for my phone consultation, just a meds review, then rest of day is my own.

Poor Dog, sounds a lot worse than a upset tummy .Hope it gets better soon .
Thank you. Just waiting for an update from her, how he is. The vet did mention other tests if he doesn’t improve, and to take him back immediately.
She is a lady I met out dog walking a few years ago, when her husband was alive, and after he died I invited her to the cafe meets and she and her neighbour, also then widowed, have been regulars and firm friends.
With the amount of blood escaping , I would not want to wait long … its nice that shes got a good friend in you .
