It ain’t to bad out here. Done my early stroll, not much going on in the field.
The Wednesday coffee and chat this morning. Her down the road is not going, so I might walk and bus it.
Apparently, they found a young Lady walking down the sea wall, they wrapped her up in foil and took her to the Hospital.
Poor lass. Wonder what made her so that.

Found out last night, she wasn’t a young Lady, she was 60 years old. What on earth was she doing on the Cliffs and the Beach at 4.30am in the morning.

Raining a bit here at the moment.
Thursday is the day that Lisa my cleaning lady comes for her 2 hour stint.
I had 2 of those grain pads that you heat up in the microwave, and stick it where the aches and pain is. One I gave to my daughter, and the other has gone walk about? I now wonder if I loaned to Lisa???
I have been invited for tea and a chat this afternoon with one of my female friends. Her place this time.
On Monday afternoon I have another invite from the lady that I have known for some time down the road, also for tea and chat. She is the one that I take to the Wednesday morning coffee and chat.

I’m just back from a circuit walk round the park with Tony - it took all of five minutes.
My aim is to fo a little further each day.
Daughter Karen is coming this afternoon with some shopping for me from Aldi.
I’m waiting for her to bring me the ingredients for making lentil soup. I’ve read it’s full of protein & very healthy so that will be on our menu from now on.
No other plans.

My friend/neighbour alerted me to our allotment site Whatsapp. Apparently the council have temporarily banned us from accessing our site. They have been digging up the embankment alongside and there is talk of possible hazardous materials,

I woke up an hour later this morning. Maybe it’s a practice run for Sunday when the clocks go back?
So everything is an hour late. It don’t really matter.
I have picked up some sweet chestnuts from the car park and the rear of my garden. It’s that time of year.
I don’t know what else I shall be doing today, so will just let it happen.
I sometimes wonder if I am digging up bits of WW2 bomber or something on the plot. I think it would be a metal detectorist’s dream - or nightmare! There is an annoying metal fence post buried in one of the beds. One end is just less than a fork’s depth but slants downwards and there is a piece of wire or rope tied to it. So I keep catching the fork tines on it when loosening the soil.
It is probably wise if the council check and clear any suspicious waste materials in case it is asbestos from an old roof or something.

Back from the library. Went by bus and caught the next one coming back within half hour. Washing nearly finished, hoping to catch some sun for a few hours in the garden to dry some of it.
Just had a rummage in the freezer. Pulled out some beef and veg for Holly, sausages for tonight’s mixed grill, and I think some spag Bol sauce for tomorrow.
You wouldn’t believe the old materials plot holders use, either as fencing or as sheds/greenhouses, so it wouldn’t surprise me. I have no idea what the council will do to eliminate our area, whether they intend to test everywhere! We already had one lady moaning she needed something from her shed.

No plans here for the moment. Got something out from freezer yesterday that think could be spag Bol sauce, so that’s main meal sorted.

Have any of you had or used a grain filled cloth container that you heat up in the microwave for a couple of minutes, and put on the painful part of your body?
Well I had 2. One I gave to my daughter, and the other one has gone walkabout. I just cannot find it. Last winter I used it as a hot water bottle in my bed. As I had no fear of it bursting.
I know where it was kept, but it ain’t there. Gone, vanished into thin air.
I have had to order another off eBay. I bet when I get it, the other one will reappear.
I used to have one Emjay, but it could be anywhere, after 2 moves. Could even be in box in the shed. Used to like it over a shoulder, or round the neck.
