Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Morning all.

Holly decided not to pre warn me she needed a wee, at 5.45am, so I have that to clean up later. I’d followed her downstairs, thinking she wanted to keep scratching at her sore ear, but found her little accident instead. Good job I have my spot wash machine then!! I have dampened the area till I can get round to it.

I have my diabetic eye screening test at 11.20 and have just managed to book a taxi. Had to install the app on my iPad as using the phone wouldn’t let me do it. It is too wet and windy to faff about waiting for 2 buses. It will be easy to bus it home, though they are not London times. Half hour between the one from bus station (which I have to get to first), one goes to a stop close to home, the other veers off another road, making it a bit of a longer walk. I was spoilt in London, with the stops right outside the flats. Miss one? Not to worry: another will be along in minutes. Obviously cannot drive there, because of the drops.

Need to dig out either my wellies, or water proof shoes. For too many months I have been wearing my canvas Velcro fastening, which soak up water like a sponge.

Morning all, horrible weather rain and wind.

Good luck Janet with the eye screening.

Emjay we are having problems with the Smart Metre, they don’t tally with what the reading outside say, we have been on the phone to them many times, they are also in Delhi Inida.

Good news my Female Guppy did not die, she has managed to get up and started swimming again.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all.
It’s not raining! So I have just come back from my stroll. I just love this field. There is so much to look at. No foxes this morning but a load of Canada geese.
I am off to have my hand X-ray this morning. Don’t know why I need it, as when I had the injection on Tuesday, it feels much better. No clicking fingers.
My daughter is now in Antiqua. I have a friend coming for tea this afternoon.

Morning all, thank god its stopped raining, I can go out now.
Off into Town this morning to buy some goodies.
Emjay, you should have your camera with you on your travels.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all.
Weather wise I have a bit of everything here. A few spots of rain, cloudy, and I have seen the sun.
Saturday, busy busy. Second laundry being done, a bread being made, done my early walk.
I missed the postman with my parcel yesterday. I was on my way to the hospital for the hand X-ray. I saw him on my camera. I don’t know why he did not leave it with a neighbour.
Hopefully he will try again today.
Susie. I have my phone camera that does a decent job for close up subjects, I do at times take my proper camera.

Morning all.

Covid jab this morning then as Tesco is on my way home I might just pop in and have a browse.

Morning all.

I caught the bus to the hospital for my jab and sat next to Susie, who was returning from town. Glad I bussed it but switchboard never gave me the reason for not being able to use main car park. It was closed for repairs and other one full.

Good morning all, lovely outside, bright and sunny.
Nothing planned for the day.
Gammon joint to cook for dinner.
Have a nice day all.

Good morning all.
Blue sky’s here but cold. After all yesterdays rain, it was a relief to see the sun is still in the sky.
I shall be getting a bus up to Iceland. No not the country, but the store. I need some of their large cod, (two in a box), and also some fish fingers. I expect I shall be tempted to other bits that that I see.

My usual quick route to Morrisons and the retail park reopened Friday. New road layout for the new bridge, so I’m wondering whether to go there today. The junction has been closed since March meaning the long way round to the stores. Once the bridge is open it will be quick for Asda, Dunelm, McD, and south of the town.

Morning all.

I beat the alarm this morning by 15 minutes. All jobs done, walked dog, done her ear drops, biscuits and water. Just biding time with a small coffee, finish my social media greetings, then take the car for the 8am drop off. Will then roam the streets, either look at Wetherspoons or find a cafe, for breakfast. Hopefully by then the library will be open.

Morning all.

Off to do our weekly shopping this morning.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all.
It is not too bad here. Field is damp but not flooded.
Off to Sainsburys now, for a load of bits to keep me going.
Still waiting for a delivery from eBay. I was supposed to come last Thursday or Friday. If not here today, I shall have a moan to the seller and eBay.

Morning all.

Today’s plans are, get the bin out into the alley soon for collection, walk the dog, then at 11 it’s our weekly cafe meet. My coat should be nice and wet by the end.

Morning all.

And my plans for today, is going to Gorleston in the rain and getting wet, need to go to QD, Iceland and Morrison’s.

Have a nice day all.

It has stopped so was able to do dog walk, and get the bin out. Mind, just had my coat over my dressing gown, so I didn’t get my trousers wet.

Good morning all.
As it was raining, I thought that I ain’t going for my early walk.
But, then it stopped, so off I went.
There is not much planed for today, except finish the story that I am reading on my kindle.
I did contact eBay about the non delivery, and it seems the seller has dispatched a replacement. Rather strange I thought, as the item was sent 1st class Royal Mail.
I suppose you are all wondering what the item is.
It’s a fishing net that I want for my pond.

Morning all.

Another busy day for me. Walking to my flu jab appt for 11, free time (shall I pop down to Morrisons now the road has been reopened*), then after feeding Holly I will be dropping a friend and her dog off for his 4pm groom appt. She doesn’t think he can walk both ways. Usually he goes elsewhere and a friend takes him but she had to book with somebody different for this week. As a thank you she bought my tea yesterday and a piece of cake. I have said I would be happy to collect them, if she needs it.

I might pop into my own pharmacy on the way home, see if my repeat meds are ready. The flu jab is booked with a pharmacy next to the vets where friend is going.

*the quick road down to the retail park had been closed since March for a new road layout whilst building our new bridge. Since then I have had to go the long way round, so I’m pleased it’s open again.

Good morning all.

Had excitement at 4.15am this morning, 3 Coastal Vans and 1 Fire Engine went down to the sea behind me, was there for about 1 hr. don’t know what was going on yet.

Might go into Town later.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all
food delivery today .
Have a good day
