It is still very good that I can still walk around the fields on my own. Although the kids are back in the school, so it is not as peaceful.
Today. Lisa my cleaning lady comes this morning,
And I expect that my daughter will pop in later.
I am not very happy with this almost new recliner chair. I think it is giving me a back ache. Although it goes back almost horizontally, it donât go forward enough to chuck me out.

I would be hard pressed to find a suitable recliner chair. My old one wasnât all that comfortable.
Feel like utter c*** this morning. Up early, did a Covid test before having a drink, it was negative. Then researching bus and train times for sister who has dropped off her car for repair. Possibly seized brake pads. I guess I will be footing the bill, unless by some miracle she has sufficient funds. If garage ring her early enough I think I am taking her there. Just want my bed.

It overcast here at the moment, but that big ball of fire is burning it off.
I have a bit of a backache, and I am sure it is due to this recliner.
As usual lunch at Morrisons and dinner at my daughterâs.
Hope Janet is ok, she has not been on any of the forums this morning.
Susie, when you feel as rough as I do, social media takes a back seat. I have been back to bed for an hour or so. Also having toilet trouble.
Only had a small cup of beefy drink this morning, but now made up a mug of cup a soup. Just donât have any appetite or strength. Struggled with walking Holly back this morning, legs felt like they were giving way.
Got up so I could have something, and also put a clothes wash on.

Me too Jazzi, I think I picked something up at the hospital on Monday. According to the receptionist it was the busiest day he had ever seen. They were queueing out the door and it was so hot. We managed to get a seat by the door but had to wait over 8 hours to see the doctor. I tested positive for Covid yesterday, but Mrs Fox tested negative this morning.
Have you tested for Covid Swimmy?
There is a nasty bug going around here as well!
The two of us here have just about got over it now but I had a streamer for about a week or more and was coughing up wallpaper paste! Other person in house was in bed for about four days and had to stay within reach of the lavatory and had cough/cold symptoms.
I was still able to get to the plot and picking a glut of beautiful victoria plums - just about finished now. Iâll let the wasps have the rest! Onions lifted and drying. Still more potatoes to lift. Was spending more time there as semi retired about a year ago - for the time being anyway. I think this has paid off as erected a shed and have had better results as was able to pay more attention to weeding and planting. Suddenly there seems more to do there but I enjoy being in the open and now have a shed to drink coffee in.

I have just got up to eat a banana. I am so tired, and feel like Iâve been coshed.
I just know in less than two hours the boys next door will be up n running through the house. Hope they go out for the day. Poor Holly. Had to ask my friend to take her out at 8.15. She doesnât know whatâs going on with her mum. I have been fidgeting all night, taking pain killers, or just blowing my nose.
No point lying out the garden with the blasted cockerel going, either.

Already perspiring freely, as it already is in the 30sC.
As for a Saturday, laundry is in the dryer, and some hung out.
I expect as usual, my daughter will drag me out, and we will go for lunch at the usual restaurant that we have been going to on a Saturday.

A sore throat and a cough that comes on mainly at night, feel in good spirits though, even though Iâve no energy to do anything. A bit of rest from cycling and walking wonât do me any harm Iâm sure. Not that Mrs Fox will let me do anything anyway, at least not with these ankle restraints onâŠ

Just back from my morning stroll, I did both fields today.
I donât really know what I shall be doing today, so I suppose I shall just let it happen.
I might get a phone call from a friend, and she might come for tea.
