Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Morning all, not going out anywhere today.

Have a nice day.

Morning all.

Hoping to get to Morrisons and Pets at Home this morning.

Holly never went on her overnight stay with a friend. He had got home late so I said never mind, we went for her walk and were in bed by 9. Only woke up twice and that was good.

Glad it’s cooled down.

Looking at my dead strawberry plans here I am guessing most crops would have wilted too at the allotment. Hopefully root veg would be ok. Might be a day or two before I have the energy to pop round, and that will only be to water everything.

Good morning all.
Yes it has cooled down a bit here. Not had any rain yet, but very overcast.
Off to Sainsburys shortly, and that is all I have planed.
I suppose that when my daughter comes, she will have plans for us.

Hi

Much cooler today.

It is very different living in a huge rural area, plea from the Police today, can we all keep an eye on our tractors. :joy: :joy:

Good morning all, grey here, they do predict rain today, but I think the sun is trying to come out.

Need to go out this morning to get some food in.

Hope both Janet and OGF are feeling a bit better today.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all.
I just felt a few drops of rain when I went for my morning walk.
The sky does look a bit angry, so I shall be watching with eager anticipation.
I don’t know what is going to happen today, might be dragged out with my daughter.

Morning all.

Feeling ok for now Susie, but still trouble toilet wise. Lots of coughing in the night. Just enjoyed toast n jam for breakfast.

Soft food still on the menu planner and hopefully in a few days I can start introducing normal stuff. Can’t wait to do a roast.

I was hoping to go to the library today but have been told to expect something in the post. I should have asked, what size is it and do I need to be in?

Good morning everybody.

Glad you’re feeling better Janet.

Swimming for me this morning.

No other plans so far

Brilliant :sunglasses:Well done Carol :clap::clap::clap:

You’ve inspired me :+1:

Enjoy your swim Ralph.

I’ve always enjoyed swimming & regularly go two or three times a week.

It’s the only fitness regime I can keep to owing to a trapped nerve in my back.

I regret having to leave my walking group & exercises classes but I just do what I can

Hi

Be proud of yourself, you are doing amazing.

Thanks Carol.

As I drove away from my road I met my postman and asked if he had something for me. Handed over a little parcel. My friends had sent an allotment planner, one I don’t have in my collection. Phoned the man once I’d paid my car parking fee and was able to talk.

The library waived my overdue fine ‘as I’ve been poorly’. Can still hear it in my voice. Wilko staff were dancing in the store to loud music and cheering each other on with their antics. Made me teary. Enjoyed a coffee and sit down in Greggs. A little detour via B&M then home. Dog walk, pop into shop to see friend (she keeps messaging asking how I am). Home to a cheese scone and cold iron bru. Yum.

Might go back to bed, might stay sitting in the garden.

Good morning all, sun is coming out and a bit windy outside.
Have done loads of washing which is now outside blowing in the wind.
Off into Gorleston this morning.
Have a nice day all.

Morning. For me I will still be taking it easy, maybe going back to bed if I can. Depend if both kids next door are off to school n nursery.

I am still feeling very unwell and it’s all getting rather tedious now.

Good morning all.
Wednesday. So I shall be going as usual to the Wednesday AgeUK coffee and chat. Just had a text from her down the road telling me she is ok to be picked up to come.
I was sitting in my new reclining chair yesterday, and out of the window I saw an old boy on a bike. (I see a lot of people on bikes as this is one of the cycle routes).
So I got out of my chair, went and pumped up the tyres of the Brompton, put on my gear, and went for a ride. As first the left knee did not like it. But it soon settled down. (that’s the one I had replaced).
Last evening I have begun sorting out the Muddy fox. I need 27” from rear of the saddle to the crank. For my knee to be able to work it.
Get well soon all you sufferer’s.

Ace. Well done Emjay :sunglasses::clap::clap::clap:

Morning all.

Still feeling like c***.

Good morning all.

Well done Emjay for getting on your bike.

How are you feeling today Janet?

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all
I just had an early mission from my daughter to go get a couple of things from Sainsburys, for her MIL down the road.
So been there, done that.
It is quite nice out, done my early walk.
My cleaning lady comes this morning, and I am going to continue working on the Muddy fox bike. The front gear changer needs adjusting, otherwise it is good to go.
