You can get a thing called a waspinator on line. We’ve used them on fruit trees and also under the eaves of a garage roof. It works as it is an imitation of a wasp’s nest and the wasps think the place has already been taken.

I will nip over to B&Q after coffee this morning to get some laminate flooring for my bedroom as there is 15% off at the moment, then after lunch I will sort out the photo competition entries before doing some more digging over of cleared ground in the fruit garden, if the weather lets me.

The problem Greengage, is that I can’t access the eves where the wasps are going in. By what you say, it could be too late now to discourage them as I expect that they are well established.

Now in or is it on the IOW.
Although we were booked in to the 0800 ferry, we got here just in time to get on the 0700 one.
I am already shattered, got up at 0415 and left home at 0500.
I got dragged around the farm. Almost got trampled by a load of sheep when my daughter rattled the food box.
I already have taken a load of photos with my phone and cameras .

My clothes wash is out in the garden, hoping everything will dry. I think it’s going to be an ok day, weather wise. Was quite worried about sister’s cats yesterday, hoping the pet sitter hadn’t let/left them outside. We had such a downpour, together with rumbles of thunder. I will be round there in an hour or so, after seeing to my pet, and had my breakfast.
Then will go on to Tesco afterwards, for some bread.
No gardening today. Will potter about indoors, maybe try out the Vax spot wash. If to be a dry day could try cleaning the grooves of external doors. And some of the Chinese from yesterday’s take away, for today’s main meal. Quick and tasty.

We had a little bit of rain here yesterday, but no downpour, although the clouds build up looked heavy. Today it looks a bit overcast with sunny intervals at the moment.
We are off to Sandown airfield later as there is the scooter meet-up there. Also one of my daughters friend is having a helecopter ride that was bought for her.

From there we’ll call to see Ady & Paula & Josh. They’re going on holiday tomorrow in a ‘pod’

I am having a great time here at my daughter’s place.
I noticed that I am not coughing up lumps of coke at night when I go to bed, or in the morning.
So that must prove that the air at home is dirty.
Also sleeping well.
We went to Sandown airport to see one of her friends having an helicopter flight.
There were hundreds of scooter people there as it was their annual rally.
We are staying an extra day, and coming home on Wednesday.
