Hi
Good Morning All.
Lovely bright start to the day.
Unexpected visitors yesterday, which was lovely…
A heavy dew this morning, slugs all over the place.
Have a good day all.
Good morning all.
It is overcast here at the moment, but not cold.
Off to Sainsburys shortly as usual for my weekly shop.
I might be going to the IOW with just my daughter next weekend. That will be nice and looking forward to it.
Emjay, hope you do manage to get away. Might be good for you.
Off course it will be Bank holiday next weekend, enjoy yourself Emjay.
When coming up from the Beach this afternoon , a Police car was parked outside our House and a Police man got out of the Car and came upto me and asked if I had just been down at the Beach, I said yes, he asked if I had seen an Elderly man of 80 years in a Green Stripped Shirt and Blue Shorts down there, no I said, is he dangerous, no he is Missing from Station Road, so I said I will just keep my eye out for him and ring him if I see him.
Good morning all, another beautiful day here.
Up early this morning, changed bed sheets on both beds, all washed now and on the washing line.
Off to the Car Boot sale this morning to buy my strawberries.
Have a nice day all.
Morning all.
Some strimming this morning, then later will start filling the shredding bags I got yesterday. Might not need the second one, but it could well be possible. Picked them up yesterday on the way back from seeing a couple of friends for a cuppa and chat.
Shan’t bother going for coffee at a nearby park with two other ladies. I want to make the most of the good weather. It is not so hot in the mornings. Just checked, it should be nice enough tomorrow too, so I will try both days at the allotment. Looks like rain forecast from Thursday.
Carol, did you get the car seen to?
Good morning all.
Overcast here but very warm.
Problems down the road with my daughters MIL. She is past the sell by date, and is giving lots of problems. Ok I understand that her husband has died a few weeks ago , but she can no longer look after herself. She is 86. They have applied for a home for her, that is so good that it has a waiting list. They have organised a woman, that is our cleaner, to go in for an hour or so to help and keep her company. At the moment my SIL is staying over night there.
My daughter and I do her shopping, which we will do today.
So that is the drama at the moment.
Hi
We had a murder in town yesterday afternoon, about 3 miles away.
Two cars involved, one was abandoned a mile away from me, the other side of the Railway Level Crossing.
Kynaston Road, the epicentre of crime, they normally do not venture across the Level Crossing.
They did yesterday, big groups of youths, and causing serious trouble.
They where outside my house, I have a double drive, and kicking off big time, smashing my bird feeders up and trying to fight the local kids.
For the first time in my life I dialled 999.
They know that I am now classified as vulnerable.
The response, stay inside and lock your doors.
I have still not had a visit from the Police.
That is disgusting Swimmers, Police don’t do anything these days.
Morning all.
I have no bread (ended up binning some of my lunchtime sandwich as noticed mould, urgh), and need some other bits, so a morning trip to Morrisons at the retail park. Also want to look for some of Holly’s biscuits in Pets at Home.
If too hot for allotment, I might see if it’s quiet enough to be out in my back garden. NfH are away camping (oh it’s been blissful without them).
Morning all, beautiful sunshine here.
Off into Gorleston this morning, need to buy a few things.
Swimmers my Pearl Gourami died, it was not fungal, he had been attacked by another Fish, I thi k it was the White Sailfin Molly, he seems to attacked all of the fish.
Have a nice day all.
Good morning all.
Not to bad here at the moment. Sun is up there somewhere.
It’s Wednesday, so off to the AgeUK coffee and chat this morning.
Her down the road is not going, so I might just go by bus.
Looking forward to the weekend away, but my daughter tells me it will be a 0500 start.
Morning all.
Seems we may have some rain soon. Certainly very cloudy right now. I had hoped to get to the allotment this morning, after getting petrol, but will see how it goes. In fact, it is very dull! My NfH are away camping: wonder if they will soon make their way home? It has been blissful in their absence.
I have begun filling the two bags for shredding, but will check the spare rooms first, make sure I haven’t missed a box full. I will wait for a few weeks till I get a new lot of monthly prescriptions, so I can empty the tablets into the weekly strips and then throw the empty boxes straight into the bag.
Enjoy your day.
Good morning all.
I got a wasp nest in my loft. I noticed them going in under the eves of the roof. I have been finding dead or half dead in the bathroom.
I contacted the council and they want £90 to come and sort it out.
I would have thought it would be free.
The feedback for the service is not good. So I shall wait until they die off when it gets cold.
I think I know how they are getting into the bathroom, so I will seal it off.
It rained in the night, and now just spitting. It did not stop me from going for my morning stroll.
Cleaning lady this morning.
And that’s it.
Got Holly out just as it started raining. Fortunately she did her business just along the road so we were soon back in. Wet coats on the airer to dry. Tsk. Stopped when we got home.
Where are all our regulars hiding today? Just me and Emjay?
And after getting down on my knees with cloths and a bucket of soapy water.
I have since ordered the Vax Home Duo Spotwash machine, to collect tomorrow. I also have an area in back room to wash again, after dropping two slices of pizza lunchtime. My plate slid from the place mat, and down they went. The dog licked up most of it, then again, on hands and knees to wipe up.
Grrrrr.
Have you guessed how it happened? What, or who, is the cause of most tea/coffee spillages?
Sorry to see that Jazzi, I would have been gutted if that happened to me…and it does occasionally…
