The doctor only prescribes one course of tablets, and itâs so strong that you canât have another course for several months Janet. The first lot I had a few years ago worked fine, but when I was prescribed with it last year it didnât make much difference. I found that 200mg Ibuprofen before bedtime was just as good without the risks.

Well, given it, but I am hoping to stop after a few days. Reckons itâs traumatic arthritis. With my other meds he was limited as to what to give. If I find this intolerable then will try more ibuprofen.

Must get into town this morning, for the library, and on to Wilko, see whatâs going on there.
Never heard the storm, just the rain.
Morning everyone and yes, overnight rain here too but a dry sunny day now forecast.
Not sure of my plans, although I have a few small jobs to do I seem to lack motivation today, so they may have to wait until tomorrow.

I must drive to the allotment and drop off everything thatâs in the car, plus a bag of horse manure. Wonât be working over there, unless I tape the GH joints, but plan on going another day with strimmer when not so hot.
I didnât take three tablets yesterday as I could feel my ankles tightening. I think the swelling is going down on the foot, but still some redness and discolouration on the toe. Pain not as severe, but still there. So will still take it easy.

Looking good weather for today. So Jan, all this worry about gout, did not materialise.
Being Sunday I donât have any plans yet.

Just baking bread this morning then cooking salmon and mash for lunch with the last of the runner beans, but no other plans as yet.

Hoping to stop these new meds soon. They give me such a bad headache. Inflammation doesnât seem to be going away on the toe but the pain isnât so unbearable.
Off out this morning to a house for tea/coffee. The woman doesnât seem to want to be at the cafe these days so has invited two of us there.
Later I plan on having a nap, as not slept very well. NfH are going away camping so I shall have respite for a few days at least.
