This morning I hope to get out early, drive down one of the side roads then catch a bus into Gorleston High Street for Wilko. My store is fairly empty. I don’t plan on hanging around as the journey each way is about 40 minutes and hanging about for buses makes my time out much longer. I could check my app, for when the return is due.
Mind, last time I waited they’d taken the due bus out and I had to wait ages for another. Fortunately Holly was with her carer that day but I was due to get her later. Got me worried.
I have both bugs which are going round as well as my usual health problems and with holidays and sickness only have one hours help a day for the next week.
Good morning all.
No sun out today and the dark clouds look like they are going to drop their load anytime soon.
Nothing yet planed for today, so I shall just let it happen.
Rain here, but it may be easing off. May scupper my plans but never mind. I can get my garden trolley out and move the bag of horse manure from my neighbour’s front garden and wheel it round to my back. Barely have the strength to lift it over my brick wall. She doesn’t have a gate so I just reach round to grab it.
If I don’t go out I can do another roast beef meal, for lunch time time, rather than supper, as I have meat left.
Holly is lying outstretched on my bed, fast asleep, and I keep looking at her with my heart melting. Oh, just woken up and let me stroke her. Not looking forward to going out if still raining though.
Morning all, tipping down here too, and forecast for most of the morning…
Just back from the Monday Tesco shop and having a coffee. Later I’ll be making some dhal for the freezer, and maybe some rhubarb crumble with the few sticks that I picked yesterday.
Good morning all.
Just as I was going to go out for my morning stroll, I started to rain. It was only a short shower, so off I went.
Looks like there is mor to come.
I shall be going shortly to Sainsbury’s for my weekly shop.
Later my daughter is going to drag me to Costco. I bet I shall find something to buy there.
Good morning all.
Blue sky, sunny, and not a cloud in the sky. Well not yet.
I don’t have anything planed for today, so I shall just let it happen.
I might just go sit in the garden, and watch the apples falling off the tree. Whilst reading my kindle. Now that is 2 things, so I shall be multi tasking.
Morning Emjay et al, not clear blue here but pleasant enough with broken cloud and a pleasant temperature…
Just back from our walk and spotted a heron by the lake, who promptly flew up into his tree as we passed by. Apologies for the poor quality, just a camera phone on full zoom.
Think I stubbed my toe yesterday as it is agony right now. Couldn’t do a long enough walk last night so Holly went without main toilet, just come back from this morning’s outing. Managed to go further as I was doing everything possible last night. Pain was unbearable in bed.
Hope I can hobble again round to the cafe. Don’t know where my walking stick is, so might try looking in the car. And tomorrow will need to be able to drive, as been invited round to a coffee group lady’s house, with another one going. I don’t think she is keen to come to the cafe much, as she turned down today.
A sunny day here and a very pleasant temperature forecast without being too hot, luvverly…
The Peugeot is in for the MOT this morning so fingers crossed it doesn’t need anything doing, it really has been an expense this year with servicing, brakes, springs etc. so I hope it will pass now. No other plans so I’ll maybe just potter about until the garage phones.
Good morning all.
I don’t know why, but I am having to log in to here every time. Something I must have done.
Yes loverly real summer weather here, and it is hot. I could do with some cool weather today, as I have a funeral this afternoon and of course it will be suited and booted.
I am still going to the Wednesday coffee and chat this morning, but will have to leave early.
Another early morning photo.
Good luck with the car, Barry.
Emjay, sorry to hear you will be attending a funeral.
Susie, still very, very sore! Thanks. Struggled with this morning’s dog walk as I would get the occasional stabbing feeling. Considering going back to bed with my book, or trying to make the sofa more comfortable. Well, they did say ‘rest and elevate’!
