Yes Jan, that’s the place. Before that I used to go to the one in the Chingford hall estate. Much easier to get to.
Morning everyone, bright start here too and dog walk done, just another short walk although Oscar’s pad is much better now, so maybe tomorrow we can take a longer one.
Off to B&Q after coffee to have a look at some laminate flooring for my bedroom to replace the carpet, there is supposed to be 10% off with their club card so we’ll have to see whether there is a bargain to be had or not.

We have visitors for lunch today, my mum, eldest daughter and SIL plus youngest great grandaughter, so quite a spread of ages, 94 down to 18 months, so we are really looking forward to seeing them all.

Later this morning I’m going to Eastwood Notts with Chris to look round DH Lawrence’s house.
Then we’ll look round the town & have a pub lunch.
My mri scan went ok yesterday. I was under the scanner a long time though - I could actually feel the heat from the rays.

Just had a nice lie in, till 8. Got up for the bathroom at 5.45, took a cup of tea upstairs with tablets then back into bed. Wish my neighbours would go away more often.
I might pop into town, have a look in Wilko, see if anything is on offer, or work out what I need to buy before they go under. Such a shame.
Then if I have time, will get round to one of the supermarkets, I suppose Asda being the nearest. Still waiting for the road to reopen on my short cut to Morrisons but no update yet on that. (Road works for the new crossing).

Done my lone walk around the field. There is still plenty to see of nature as I walk.
Stopped to chat to the guys that do the white lines for the cricket and at the moment just one football pitch. (In the season there is five).
Cleaning lady at 10-12.

Lovely day, dawn chorus was the camera alarms going off constantly early hours due to people running around at the front.
This weekend is the Flower Show with road closures and traffic jams so the locals are out shopping today.

Just tried to sit out in the garden but it seems like someone, or some persons, are rehearsing in their garden on drums and rapping over a mic. God the noise! I wanted to read my book. No chance. Dog has followed me in.

It was orrible looking weather earlier, but now there are patches of blue sky. It is very warm out.
I may pop out shortly to get a couple of things from Sainsburys.
It’s Friday. So I hope it’s lunch at Morrisons and dinner at my daughter’s.

Only bits and pieces to do today, make some tomato soup to make use of our current greenhouse glut, cook omelette and chips for lunch and groom the dog, so a varied agenda and the rest of the day can just please itself.

I notice that my daughter has gone to the market at Northweald.
I did not go with her as there is nothing that I need. That is until I got there and always seem to find something that I need to have.
I expect she will come here and drag me out later.

Got waylaid earlier, taking Holly out before I could finish off my social media greetings.
Maybe a bus trip to the library today, drop off those books that are due back. Then later will need to get my garden trolley out to transport compost and horse manure down to the allotment. I asked my neighbour for the manure so I can tip into unused raised beds later, ready for next year.
