Nice and sunny here but still a chill in the wind.
I have just picked up a load of wind fall apples and deposit then in the bin. Trouble is that shortly if I open the bin, there will be a load of fruit flies, and they get everywhere.
Question. Why do snails and slugs commit hari curry! in my pond? Every morning I have to get them out.
Stupid creatures.

It is so cold out! I doubled back to get my light anorak to put over my fleece but it wasnāt enough. Last night I shoved a single electric blanket into my bed to warm it up. We had a late walk, after Casualty, and I needed it.
Realised when doing my meds that the emergency supply of Apixaban, which I collected yesterday, wonāt last as long as I thought. I will need to speak to somebody tomorrow, see if my GP can send the prescription elsewhere. I have 5mg twice a day, they gave me 2.5mg, quantity 10. So 4 today, 4 tomorrow, and 2 for Tuesday morning. Gah!

Iām off to see my granddaughter Taylor & Ben & baby Sofia in half an hour. I will be taking the washing back I did for them & collecting more. Iāve taken this upon myself until she gets back on her feet.
Later I will be buying flowers for mums birthday & taking them to her grave.
Cooking a chicken dinner for tonight.
My central heating boiler is set at 19deg & it actually came on in the night!!

So lots of phoning round to do today. And it would be a nice day, wouldnāt it? Ideal for being on the allotment. But my emergency meds run out tomorrow so I have to get hold of some very soon. And get the car fixed.

Once again not much on my agenda, I have some bread rising nicely and thatās about it at the moment, but no doubt Iāll find a job in the garden later on.
Thanks for all of your concern for Oscar, the wound doesnāt seem too deep, more of a scrape really, but it is clean and we are bathing it in dettol to stop him licking it so much, so unless anything gets worse I donāt think heāll need to see the vet.

Going for my usual Monday shopping at Sainsburys, but waiting for my daughter as she is going to do hers as well. She normally does it on Tuesday, but has other things to do tomorrow.

Off to Derby this morning to see BIL and a visit to Darley Park for the Hydrangea open day, then fish 'n chips for lunch. Oscar has been out for a short walk so we will leave him here when we go, we would normally take him but although his pad is on the mend we donāt want to push our luckā¦

I have my eye screening test this morning. Itās a bus ride to the place in Leyton.
But now I am looking at the sky, and there seems to be some very grey cloud heading this way.
I donāt know if I shall see my daughter today as she has a few appointments in different locations.
I know that place Emjay. Opposite what used to be the Leyton baths? I had to use that for several years after going to Comely Bank.
