I felt a few spots of the wet stuff just a short while ago, whilst out with the ex rat catcher. Well that Minnie is definitely not a hound.
I expect it will be the usual Friday. Lunch at Morrison, and dinner at my daughter.
I like that as I don’t have to cook.

Yes raining here. I decided to walk to collect Holly. We got home damp and bedraggled.

Blimey, that rain last night. Can’t wait to see what it’s done to my water collecting buckets on the allotment. It finally stopped about 10pm so I was able to get Holly out.
Probably staying home today, to catch my breath, and tidy up. I have washing and shopping hanging about. And spend time with the dog.
Morning everyone, overcast again here and yet more rain forecast, but the garden is immensely grateful for it I’m sure…
Back from our very short walk with a reticent Oscar, who is usually so excited to go, but was unusually reluctant today so we gave it up after half a mile. No matter though as it looks like it’s just starting to rain, so he may have saved us from a soaking.

Now I don’t want you to get jelious, but I have some blue sky and sun. But it is windy and I can see some nasty looking stuff approaching from the south west.
I don’t know what I shall be doing today, as my daughter has again gone to their retreat in the IOW.

We have had rain this morning. Spect it’ll be on and off.
Been doing bits, sitting down, doing stuff whilst sitting down. Spose I ought to rummage in the freezers, see if I can find a chicken Kiev. I have reduced price baked potatoes with cheese, and could/should have picked the Kievs up while in Tescos. I do wish there were single portion packs. Having to find room to freeze something is annoying.

Got the sun shining right in my bedroom, let’s hope it stays nice.
Morning all, dull and heavy drizzle here blowing in quite a stiff breeze, so no walk first thing, may try again later if it improves.
I was going to clip the hedge as well today, but I may decide to bake a loaf and make some soup instead… unusual though to need comfort food in July…

I nearly put my electric blanket back in! Heck yes, July. And last night I should have worn a coat over of my fleece, for the late dog walk. I was freezing. So I will check the temp before our first one, as don’t want to make that same mistake.

It is still a bit blowing here, but not as bad as yesterday.
The wind took a load of my apples off the tree.
I have done a walk with Minnie this morning, but it is more for me than her. She don’t walk far, and at times I have to carry her back home.
I don’t know what I will be doing today, so will just let it happen.
Jan. My daughter and S.I.L, caught the 0700 ferry yesterday morning, and it was not too bad she said.

Just done an hour on the allotment. Strimming and a bit of hand weeding. About to pull up broad bean plants that were about 8” high and seemingly doing nothing, and noticed a few pods. I am missing a couple as only found one in my bag, with three tiny beans. Lol. Oh, and I picked a beetroot.
Clouds were appearing and the wind was pretty strong so home now, with a cuppa. Chap on the other side of my plot told me some fences had come down in the winds. We don’t have any to worry about.

Good morning everyone, cloudy and breezy here still with showers forecast again for later.
Just back from Tesco with the week’s provisions and musing the day ahead, but nothing springs to mind that needs doing so I’ll just go with the flow, maybe pick some more fruit for the freezer if anything is ready.

Spose they were, Susie, but too small. Beetroot still in fridge. Nothing to eat it with right now.
Should think about doing some vacuuming today. And maybe some weeding. Front of my house is a mess and should be tackled.

It is not too bad weather wise here at the moment.
For me it is off to Sainsburys after 9 to allow for the school madness to subside.
I have to get some things there for my daughter and go deliver it to her house. She will not be home until later.
Well it gives me something to do.

Around here, the schools have already broken up for the summer holidays.
Ours here in Suffolk break up this Friday. So my neighbour tells me.
