Good morning all, the sun is shining bright.

Morning everyone, dull and overcast here again and rain again forecast for all afternoon, roll on summer I sayā¦
Just got some carrots and runner beans to pick for lunch but then I will have to find a job, as the one I had planned involved cement but with the weather forecast I will have to put that on hold for a while.
Have a pleasant day folks
Morning all.
I am not sure what our weather will do today but if it stays sunny, then after cafe meet, lunch and dog walk, Iād like to do more weeding on the allotment. Maybe spend another hour there. I have a flimsy cloche that left the metal hoops so will see about getting that back on, and tie some rope over onto metal pegs, see if it will stay.
Yesterday I did my front and back gardens, and a lot of vacuuming indoors.
Good morning all.
Itās not been good for me, as I had to have Minnie put down.
I knew I would not be taking her home, when I went with her to the PDSA this morning.
It seems that she had cancer on her liver and kidneys.
She was 17 so not a bad age.
Nothing else planed for today. Just have to carry on.
Oh @Emjay So sorry to hear about poor Minnie. Yes, she had a good age and a dad who looked after her well. So sorry for your loss.
Thanks Jan for your reply.
Sorry about Minnie , 17 is a good age but makes the loss more felt . You take care ā¦
My condolences on your loss of dear Minnie, such a sad time but many many memories of a life well lived together. Having loved and lost many pets over the years myself, my thoughts are with you today.
RIP Minnieā¦
Morning all.
Emjay, I bet you are feeling the loss of Minnie this morning.
No plans for me just yet, will see what the weather is doing. Looking overcast right now, so no sunshine pouring in through my bedroom window as I sit with my early morning cuppa.
I did manage to get to the allotment, from about 3.30, for an hour. Plenty of weeding to do. Got the plastic cloche back over some plants with the wind getting up again, making it harder work. Tied some thick string over it, round some tent pegs. Hoping it wonāt get itself blown away in winds. I was offered some butternut squash plants but declined. Said I have never eaten it, and besides, I am still trying to prepare some ground for planting new stuff, hence doing the weeding.
No point in me doing a SM run today as could do that tomorrow after I drop Holly at the groomers, so will/can wait for that.
Have a nice day folks.
So sorry Emjayā¦so sad for little Minnie
Good morning everyone, heavy drizzle here so our morning walk was very short, showers for later though as well they say so may forego a walk later too, but Oscar doesnāt seem bothered too much these days whether we go or notā¦
We are meeting up with relatives at the pub for lunch today, so no other plans.
Enjoy your day folks
Good morning all.
Thank you all for your condolences for Minnie.
After the 15 years that we had her it is so strange not seeing her here.
I just walked round the field on my own, and as I was about to go, I almost called her.
I am going to the Wednesday coffee and chat at the AgeUK this morning, picking up the lady from down the road as well.
This afternoon back there for the Ukulele class.
Also got a bread making that should be finished in 1 hour and 3 minutes.
Oh Enjay, just read your post, I am really sad for you with the loss of Minnie, our Pets are our babies.
Good morning all, sun is shining until lunchtime.
Nothing planned for the day, might just go for a walk.
Washed all my bedsheets early this morning, they are all outside now on the washing line.
Have a nice day all.
Morning everyone, cloudy here but a dry day forecast for a change so no complaintsā¦
Heading off to Mumās shortly to do her gardening, then after lunch I have some concreting to do at home so a busy day ahead.
Have a pleasant day folks
Good morning all.
Just back from my walk around the field, on my own of course.
My cleaning lady comes this morning at 10 for a couple of hours.
I also expect my daughter will be here later.
There is a 2 week break from the Ukulele classes, so I must keep practicing.
I am also determined to get out on my Brompton bike as soon as possible.
Morning all.
Emjay, good to see you still out walking. My older sister is looking after her youngest Dās pet. She doesnāt mind that, on a temp basis, and we were discussing the merits of a dog getting you out of the house. As she said, walking on your own, you donāt have a real purpose, whereas taking a dog gives you that. However, she has told all her children āplease donāt ever surprise me with a puppyā. I said you have a good get out clause: your age. She could even say how looking after their dad is a FT job in itself.
Keep up the walking. it helps me.
Holly is having her groom lunchtime. About time. I keep calling her mop head, lol. Once I drop her off I will dash to the retail park for PaH and Morrisons. I might check how much longer she will be after shopping, see if I have time for a cuppa. She can be 2 hours, she can be just over an hour, I never show. She said it depends if the other groomer beats her to the sink.
Barry, Iām impressed with all your diy skills. Concreting indeed!
Haha, Iām a builder so just par for the course really, but thanks anywayā¦
Good morning everybody.
Iāve an appointment with specsavers this morning for an eye test.
Iām not sure what weāre doing this afternoon but I do need to go to the local town to take a long dress to āTaylor madeā I need it altering for next Friday when we go to Warners for a short breakā¦
@emjay, sorry for your loss of minnie.
Have a good day allā¦
