It is unbelievably quiet in this room. I look out over on a roof so no external noise, and fingers crossed nobody gets into a room beside or above me. The Inn starts on the first floor, where reception and the restaurant is, and my room is along that corridor.
Still. No neighbourly noise, lol.

Morning everyone, dull here and cool today with showers forecast for most of the day.
I’m going to be doing pie and mash for lunch and I’ve a couple of jobs to do in the workshop but no plans other than that.

Oh, and by the way Oscar seems to be on the mend now but is still being quite slow and careful how he moves, but I guess partly it’s just age catching up with him as it does with us all.

I should be able to finish repairing my Astra brakes this morning, and if so I will have a trip to the tip with some garden waste this afternoon as a road test. Salad for lunch from the garden.

I went to the Ukulele class yesterday afternoon. I thought it had finished, but no it was for another 3 weeks. So I missed last week.
I am beginning to find it hard, due to the arthritis that is starting to happen in my hands.
Cleaning lady comes this morning for a couple of hours.

I usually get Holly about 4. Gives me the day to catch up on myself, do shopping and what not.
Today after 9.30 I will get the bus to Gt Yarmouth. I might stop at Gorleston shops on the way home for a bit of shopping, if I take a small trolley. Morrisons maybe. Then a bigger shop can wait till next week.

Just had a brisk walk around the block with the hound and grabbing a quick cuppa before visiting my Mum. I had planned to do a bit of gardening for her but that may have to wait until next week if it’s persisting down.
