Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Morning all.

You too, Susie.

Time to put the keyboard back together after its thorough clean.
I must have done this hundreds of times but I still need to look at other KB’s to make sure all keycaps go back in the right spot. :grinning:

You have more patience then I do Mr. Fraggle.

Glenn, did you not take a photo of it before hand? Suppose having other keyboards is as good :+1:

Used to but I have three KB’s, two are always connected so it is not an issue to replace the keys whilst glancing at another board. :grinning:

Good morning all. Looks like it might be a mild day outside.
Got a Jigsaw Puzzle to try and do, i’m useless at it.
Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

A coffee group meet up again this morning, this time at a cafe/restaurant by the sea.

No other plans for me later.

Morning all, overcast here but quite mild so no complaints.

Just got some jobs in my workshop later and I’ll be cooking fish fingers and chips for lunch.

Have a pleasant day everyone

Good morning all.
It was very Misty earlier, but that has cleared now and blue sky and sunny.
Just waiting for a phone call from my friend to tell me that she is on the bus, so I walk down the road to meet her.
I think at times, do I need a car? I only used it this week for Sainsbury’s, and Wednesday to the dentist.
I have been using buses, so much simpler, and free. Most are very frequent.

Autumn colours this morning.

Beautiful photo @Emjay

Morning all.

Lovely tree, Emjay.

Had a nice time down at the sea yesterday, in the (too expensive for me) cafe/restaurant, our first time there, and trying it out. After the co-host had leaned in to kiss my cheek (she is hosting at her house next month, I asked ā€˜is there a place reserved for me?’ ā€˜Of course, my darling’ she replied.) I left, walked across the prom to look out to sea, and almost had tears of contentment in my eyes. A bitter sweet day, as it was 9 years last night mum finally left us, but we had had a good coffee group meet up and I just felt so happy having made these new friends. And living where I do. I felt I had to text her, saying just that.

We will continue at my local cafe each Tuesday, and look for other venues at other times.

Felt rather bad seeing my sis say on FB she was feeling alone. I rang and asked, wasn’t M (her son) still with her? No, she said, he’d gone home the previous day. I thought he would be there for the weekend. Had I known she was on her own I would have invited her. So I said let’s meet up today. It’s been a week anyway, since our last one.

Good morning all, its a bit misty outside, but it is breaking up and will probably be a nice day.
Enjoy yourself at the Seaside Janet with your F&C, what seaside are you going to?
Have a nice day all.

I like Gorleston Beach Janet.

Good morning all.
Weather is very overcast this morning. Minnie has been taken out. My friend is still here and we have been eating well so far. She is moaning that she has put on weight. (8stone8 pounds)I told her that is her fault for bringing, custard tarts, doughnuts, and cake. We did have shepherds pie last evening.
Lamb shanks for lunch with lots of vegetables.

It’s nearly 3.15am in Wollogong NSW.

Good morning all.
Off out at 8am to do our weekly shopping and that’s about it.
Have a nice day all.

Morning.

Well as my sister had lost something very important we didn’t go out. Might do it today. I ended up cooking a lovely beef roast lunch.

Sis always prefers Gorleston. Me, Lowestoft. More to do and see, and of course much closer to home.

I always thought Lowestoft was a nice town but many years now since I was there…

Morning all, chilly here but nice and bright at the moment.

Nothing much planned, justice little project that I have going in the workshop to do a few jobs on and I’m cooking pie and mash for lunch later.

Have a good one folks.

Good morning all from me.
Sunny and cold here. Just put on the GAS boiler for a couple of hours to warm the place up. It frightens me what the high cost of using gas will be what the talk is all about.
Today I am expecting a phone call from the knee specialist about whether I want an replacement or further treatment. I can still walk on it without too much pain. Also I did walk about 3 miles last Monday without any problems. Decisions decisions.
