Oh poor hubby, Susie! Maybe he should have waited, as the rain did ease off early enough. I was able to get the dog out without getting wet, and go to the cafe. Only 5 of us yesterday, but it was pleasant enough.
No specific plans for me today. I did manage to sort out my owned paperbacks, and also restacked all the library books a different way on the shelf over the meter cupboard, so they are tidier. Dinner is cooked (beef casserole) so just a case of adding something, like mash or veg, or both. Easy.

I have a dentist appointment at 2pm today. Just a check up.
Very shortly I shall prepare the vegetables, carrots, onion, and the chicken thighs, stock cubes, pinch of pepper, one litre of water, and cook for one hour.
After that??? Whatever.

Just back from my morning walk with Minnie, I had a chat with the grounds men that are marking out the football pitches. I expect that next the grass cutting will be done. Yes I know it should be done first. But that is council planning for you.
