It is cloudy here but still quite warm out.
I am getting an email saying that I still have a parcel to pick up from the Amazon locker in Morrison
I already picked up the one on Thursday. I wonder if this is the one that got lost?
I shall go shortly and see.
I did not go to my daughter’s for dinner last evening, as she had a bit of a problem. So we went to the carvery instead.
I expect it will be the usual Saturday with my daughter.
Morning everyone, dull, cold and drizzle here first thing but warming up now thankfully…
Had a nice walk this morning on a track that we haven’t used for around ten years and the difference is amazing, hardly recognised the place with the growth of the trees and foliage. Managed to spot a herd of red deer too, which wasn’t unusual at one time but is quite rare now.
I don’t know what the day will bring yet, but there’s always a weed to pull and something to fix if I look hard enough.

Blue sky and already very warm.
I had an early wake up at 0515 this morning from Minnie.
Let her out and left her downstairs. I went back to bed. When I got up I found that the early wake up was too late, as there was a damp patch on the carpet that I discovered with a bare foot.
Nothing really planed yet so will just let it happen.
Morning all.
I did that yesterday, early evening, Barry. Met a lady with her slow dog and we all walked a bit along the old train lines. It runs from our retail park, along to the Yarmouth road, is down below street level (steps or slopes) and is used as a short cut. Only bikes or mobility scooters are allowed, along with pedestrians so is pretty safe. Though I prefer to be with someone. It has access to various exits along the way so we can get on it anywhere along the path.
All you can hear is maybe faint traffic, and birds. Very nice.
Plans for today may include an hour’s weeding, and perhaps going round with the vacuum.
Aww, poor Minnie, not able to hold it in.

I had a busy weekend…went to watch a women’s rugby team on Saturday…blimey those girls really mean it…gripping stuff

Just back from doing the Monday Tesco run and nothing much else on my agenda, so I may start preparing my shallots for pickling.

For me it is Sainsburys shortly, and I have to take the pump out of the pond to clean it again.
As for Minnie, I Ask myself is it time to take her to the vet for the last time? But no, I can’t do it.
Who knows what she is suffering? She is still eating and drinking, and peeing and pooing. She can just about walk or should it be hobbling. She did ok this morning, but I did have to carry her for a while.
I found a way without a fight, to get the Calpol in her in the morning. I give her some of my porridge with it in.

Awww, maybe one day she will let you know when the time is right. In the meantime, enjoy her company.
Emjay, as long as she is still eating and drinking and going to the toilet she is fine, its when they stop doing these things you have to do something.
Thinking of you @Emjay , it’s a tough time for you both and an even tougher decision as any pet owner knows, but as others have said, you’ll know when it’s time…

Overcast but still quite warm.
Minnie was good in the night and no wet carpet.
Although I had to carry her back home part of the way from this morning’s stroll.
Later it will be shopping again for them down the road, whilst my daughter gets hers. When I do their shopping I do get the nectar points.
I don’t know if anyone on here does this, but I use the scanner on the items, and it is so easy at the self checkout.

Had our morning walk and having a brew now before heading off to the MacArthur Glen shopping park, to find for a new winter coat for Rosemary’s birthday which is coming up soon.
