Home at 5 from Norwich. Friend walked to the station (she’s like a gazelle), while I waited for the bus. One expected at 3.30 never turned up, so then I’m panicking, watching next ones due. One came at 3.40, train due to depart at 3.50. Phoned my friend and we arranged that if I caught it, she would come and find me. I got in the back carriage, she was in the front, with a minute or so to spare, so she walked back to find me.
Went to card shop to see my neighbour, told her and then said, ‘oh, we never discussed how she would have got home, had I missed the train!’ She would probably have walked, or called her husband. Phew.
Spent a fortune. Who cares, eh?

Was in bed before 9.30 last night. So tired.
Been up now about half hour. Hopefully doing work on allotment today,

Cool again here but forecast to be sunnier later which will be welcome, we’ve not seen the sun at all for four or five days…
Just a couple of odd jobs first thing then I’m on bathroom cleaning duties before pottering in the garden later on, but nothing arduous…

Good morning all, the sun was out at 6am this morning, but it has disappeared.
Got loads of washing on the line outside now.
Don’t think i’m going out today, it all depends on the weather.

Ha ha. Not being fooled today as almost got my winter gear on. Yes a cold wind again.
As usual for a Friday, it will be lunch with my daughter at Morrisons, and then dinner at her place.
I have decided that I am going to sort out my crockery cupboard. There are so many plates and mugs that never get used anymore. So I shall put them in the cupboard in the conservatory. Or what ever it is called. Just another junk space.

My local Salvation Army get all of our unwanted things from here and useful stuff left behind in my rental properties… They do very good things for so many and long may they do so

Sunshine On My Shoulders
Received great news this morning and on top of that found two treasures this week while shopping.
A summer denim dress with a laced up corset in a charity shop AND an amazingly delicious French Ground Coffee at Aldi.
I’m happy today, great weekend starter!

Hoping to get on with more chores today. Was so tired yesterday in bed by 8.30. Washing machine on, will get it all out in the sun to dry then think what to start on next.
Woman up the road said anything for car boots she can take (with the promise of a few bob). If it doesn’t sell she gives to charity shops. I could maybe find some stuff to avoid too many tip runs. We will see. Haven’t started on my spare bedrooms where all my crap is, or the shed. Argh!
Morning everyone, sun just breaking through here too after another chilly night.
Just finished my last bit of gloss painting and grabbing a brew before taking Oscar down for a summer trim to a friend of ours, who has just set up his own grooming business.
Just poached eggs for lunch then pottering around in the garden before nipping over to daughter’s to feed her dogs as she is away overnight, and we’ll nip over there again in the morning to give them their breakfast.

Just come back from the morning stroll. We seen to have added another follower this morning. One of the foxes decided to join us. Maybe it’s because I was chucking it some treats that I also give to Minnie.
I suppose I shall get dragged out by my daughter later, and lunch in one of the restaurants ‘up the mount’.

A trip to Sainsburys is on the cards today. I get £7 off if I spend £50. Can’t be bad if I watch what I buy.
I’m also preparing some large plant pots for when my order of peonies arrives on Monday.
I’ve had a terrible crippling ache/pain in my upper back for a few days but all better now. I can function again.

Morning all.
Popping round to see my sis this morning before she goes off for a caravan break with her youngest. I am on cat feeding duty for two days so just want to check all is well.
Not collecting Holly till about 4 so not sure what I will do with my time left. Would like to cook a nice roast meal lunchtime.
Might get over to the allotment, and if the water tap is free, use the time to get one of my butts filled, maybe the new one.

Just back from feeding daughter’s dogs as she’s been away overnight at a charity function, and I have the car to wash before we go down to Leicester for lunch with eldest son and family, probably a barbecue knowing him if the weather’s fine…

Super morning and is very warm already.
Why is it when I needed to print off an important document the printer fails?
It seems the ink overflow pads are full.
Looking on line I found how to change them, and have ordered some. Meanwhile I shall go to Argos later and buy the cheapest Epson printer that they sell to get me out of trouble.
