Had an extreme early Saturday morning. However, it was profitable. Hereās the story. After getting my new 50/50 fridge/freezer, had to get a missing piece. Got that, installed it, fine but water not dispensing yet.
Second item to help, a new in-door water tank. Got it, installed it, no water dispensing. Got torch viewed in-door mechanism and realised spring on unit was missing. Darn gone it!!!
Called third time lucky and got appointment for engineer to come and fix the problem. LOL!
Unfortunately, the only time available for a visit was this Saturday, the 29th between 8am & 2pm. Soā¦
Daughter and I put our alarm clocks and phones on in order to wake up at 7am this morning. Watching YouTube videos and playing with our kitten. We were planning to get dressed and have breakfast at 7:30am.
Surprisingly, as we were getting up, doorbell went. āWho the heck is that so early on a Saturday morning?ā Daughter exclaimed.
Well yes, the refrigeration engineerā¦ Who apologised profusely for being so early. I explained the problem, he went out to his truck, came back in, installed new part.
Aw eh aw! Tada! Water is finally dispensing. We know have to dispense water every hour until tank will be empty without drinking as itās the first cleaning round.
But I was correct in my diagnosis of what was broken in the first instance and was verbally congratulated on my keen problem spotting 
.
By 8am the job was done. Daughter and I got breakfast and sat in LR to watch television. Promptly, we fell asleep and woke up around one.
What a crazy day but satisfying at the same time. Yawn sorry!
PS got two items left on hubbyās January 2022 DIY Todo list. One item a cooker recirculating fan (Iāll need a Lecky for that) the last one I could tackle myself but due to eye problems, I canāt install things straight lol. Itās tiling the back panels (Iād replacing them) with black subway style tiles. Oh man, I donāt know if I should dareā¦
Later all, Taco dinner planned with refried Mexicain beans. Bye!

Me? Change bed linen, get it washed. Get my hedge trimmer on charge (in car right now, canāt go and get it without the dog knowing and making a fuss). Maybe hoover round, then have my shower. To the card shop later, see our neighbour. She and Holly love the mutual fuss.

Another bad night, thanks to a little dog.
She keeps wanting my leg space on the bed. 3 am, and I had to move my legs to her space.
Plan for today. I am going to take the new pond filter and fountain out as already it needs cleaning.
I only installed it yesterday.
The electrical socket came yesterday so that allowed me to fit it all together. BAH! Assembled, it would not fit in the waterproof box. So dismantled it and used a block connector. I donāt like them for outdoors.
So back to Amazon and ordered an in line plug and socket. 3 pin.
Good morning everyone, sun is up here too, but still cool for our walk earlier with that northerly breeze.
Just pottering about dying for me plus cooking omelette and chips for lunch, but no doubt something will turn up to pique my interest later.

Just back from the Monday Tesco shop and having a brew before nipping over to Mumās again for another couple of hours of gardening. Iāll be trying to patch her lawns up which are in a terrible state and full of weeds, so I am going to spray with weedkiller then scarifying next week before re-seeding the bare patches.

So I finally got Minnie back from the PDSA after a phone all to them at 0345pm yesterday, and picked her up at 0430 pm.
She was in a state. Obviously drowsy from the sedative and what the vet told me I already knew. I had to give her a wash when we got home.
I managed to get some food into her by hand feeding.
She is back to what you could call normal this morning.
Already been out with her and we inspected the work that is being done on the field.
They are making an Astro turf cricket pitch.
Jobs for today. Change and clean the filters of the pond pump.
Hope Minnie recovers well.

Oh what a mixed day
The shower head button stopped working last week. Boo-boo as it was the last wedding anniversary gift from hubby.
However, found out itās working againā¦ Miracle! The problem? Itās the water pressure which makes it stuck in one pattern and not budging.
Today, shower head was perfect until it got stuck. Turned off the unit waited 30 seconds and started unit again. TADA! Sometimes itās the little things that makes things break or stop functioning out of the blue.
Tarotscope said I was to receive communication that was going to make me go WTF! Well indeedā¦ Energy company saying that prices are going down in July. Oh whoopsie doā¦
Yes, yippee woohoo, finally the third installment of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 is ready to come into theatres first in USA (donāt know release date in UK, sorry!) Canāt wait to see it as we love everything Greek. Hubby and I had hoped to visit Greece in our retirementā¦ Sniff!
Not as sunny as weād hoped for but got lots of work done indoors and internal temperature finally showing 21Ā°C.
