Save the Orange Cream for me Carol.
Good Sunday Morning to you all. Catching up to Gabriel Iglesias videos on YouTube. OMG he’s funny and as I laugh I feel the tension just departing! It’s good…
When I get upset, frustrated, you know what I mean, right?
You want to talk to someone who will say: “Yes, I know what you’re going through…” or say “Here’s what you can do now that you know…”
Be useful with good advice and guidance. However, most emergency phone lines just have listeners who offer no feedback and that in itself is frustrating
So now, I just discuss with myself and my cat. Yup, he’s the best medicine lol. If I cry, he’s right there with a body hug, a lick, a head rub and an amazingly calming purr.
At the end of the day, having a loving pet in your life can be extremely beneficial for your health!
Have a great day! I’m looking forward to a great week so there have a good one as well!
I agree @Supernatural
Pets are a God send , my dog as been there to comfort me too when i needed it …
Good morning all, not very n ice outside, got a load of washing on.
Not going out today, as I don’t feel so good.
Have a nice day all.
Morning all.
Sorry to hear that Susie. Hope you feel ok as the day goes on.
I am off to Specsavers this morning, to collect the second lot of new glasses. Hope they got the prescriptions right this time, and that I am not left hanging about too long. Can’t decide whether to take the bus or car.
Morning everyone, a bit brighter here but cool overnight so had to cover the plants and light the greenhouse heater…
Just back from Tesco and having a brew before taking Rosemary down for her number 6 Covid booster shot. Leftovers for lunch from yesterday’s feast…
Enjoy your day folks
Good morning all.
It was nice and sunny here earlier, but has now clouded over.
As usual off to Sainsburys later, but got to go to the post office first. I have to send back the modem to BT. That is all they wanted back, but I am sending all the other junk as well. Such as the older modem, the thing that was on the wall, cables, power supplies,
Not being with BT anymore I am saving lots. They upped their price to £64 for broadband, landline phone and rental.
I have managed to save a bit with the new BB, and 2 mobiles on different supplier’s one on ‘3’ and the other with Tesco… both cost £10 a month and BB £22.
With siblings and friends still preferring to make calls by landline, I am duty bound to keep mine. All these people have basic PAYG mobiles and it costs them to call. Some of our conversations can last an hour or more (especially so with my older sister).
I wish there was a way out of this.
It’s Monday… So don’t know what to expect…
I’d love to score off my list, so I’m remaining hopeful. As a zodiac sign with zero patience, waiting is the hardest.
However, the readings were good and promising. Keep the faith, it’ll come in time…
Have a good day, y’all!
Jan. my mobiles as I said cost £10 each a month with FREE unlimited calls and texts and 5gig of dater that I don’t use much of.
Not many people phoned my landline, only those that I no wish to talk to. But I am missing playing with the scam calls.
Good morning everybody.
I’ve not been up long but have managed to get on the phone to the dentist & the doctor to arrange/cancel various appointments due to us being away next week. Also sorted some piles of washing out. Tony is pegging the first load out as I type.
It’s a nice day. This afternoon I think we’re going a walk.
Have a good day all…
Good morning all.
Its sunny, then showers, then sun again.
Not going out.
GP phone call at 1.50pm today, results from my COPD tests.
My phone/broadband is with Sky, I pay £48.00 per month.
Have a nice day all.
Morning all.
Susie, over a quarter that will work out almost the same as mine with BT, from the next bill. For some reason this one will be much higher, then will go down. Heaven knows how they work their sums.
Cafe meet this morning, though must get my bin out in the alley first. Next door have theirs right outside my house between the boulders. Have thought of moving it closer to hers (and teach them ‘boundaries’) but just resolve to continue refusing their parcel deliveries. I feel no guilt at saying ‘no’ to the courier.
Whether I do anything on the allotment will depend on the weather. Then after Holly’s dinner has got down will get her in the car to the vet for her kennel cough vac. We will no doubt catch the rush hour traffic coming home, unless I take a different route that doesn’t involve going over the bridge.
A ready meal for lunch or dinner. Something quick and easy.
Morning everyone, 0°c here overnight but sunny now and a bright day ahead they say…
No big plans for the day, just dahl and naan bread for lunch and I will probably potter about in the garden for awhile.
Good luck for your results Susie.
Have a pleasant day folks
Good morning all.
Blue sky and lots of sunshine, but still a cold wind.
First job today is give myself a haircut.
Then later I expect that I shall go with my daughter whilst she get her shopping and I get her in-laws.
Good morning everybody.
I need to nip over to the garage across the road from me to see if my new wing mirror has been delivered. I knocked it off last week getting out of the garage.
I also need to go to the hairdressers to the Easy Barber for a haircut. I may have to go on the bus if he wants to fix my wing mirror straight away. Goodness knows how much it’s going to cost. I snapped it right off!
Have a good day all…
Just noticed on the calendar the vet trip isn’t till tomorrow.
Carol, sorry to hear you are not having much luck with cars right now. Do take it easy, but hopefully it can be fixed.
Today didn’t pan out as planned. By lunchtime, there was renewed hope. Therefore, to change the duldrum to something better in my head, I’ve created new covers for my WIP series.
Consequently, updating my author’s website. Here’s the link, if you fancy a gander:
Thanks for stopping by, much appreciated!
I’ve been up since 6am after 3 hours of sleep. I was expecting something good, didn’t go that way, as it tends, too often, to happen.
So, I’ve calmed my fretful nerves with creative imagery. These are all the new covers for my two series.
Goodnight to all my friends, I’m looking forward to a long night of at least 8 hours… So much to tackle still until the one year anniversary of hubby’s passing on Sunday.
It must be handy having creative talents to help sooth the nerves.
There’s only so much walking our dog can take.
Morning all.
