Also it looks like another sunny day, but still a cold easterly wind.
No cleaning lady today, as she phoned me a while ago to say she is not well.
I have an appointment later this afternoon to get my new hearing aid. They did have some appointments for this morning, but as I expected my cleaning lady, I took the afternoon one.
I shall phone them shortly to see if they still have a morning one.
That would make it easier for me.

Very very cold wind here too. Last night I refused to take Holly on her late walk so she just did a wee in the garden. I got her out early this morning. I can spend some nights walking aimlessly about, waiting, then come home disappointed. Seeing as she can and will alert me in the night if she needs to go out, I donāt fret about it.

Morning all, milder here but tipping down with rain which is forecast until early afternoon, so looks like a morning in the house pottering about and making pastry for some mince pies.

Yup, wet here too. I heard the rain in the night but looks like it has stopped for the time being. Hoping it will stay that way before I get Holly out.
A beef casserole to go in the slow cooker today. Most probably a staying in day, open up a book later. Do some general fiddling about indoors in the morning.

Also raining here, but not too bad at the moment. I did my usual walk with Minnie, so we both got a bit damp.
Yes I got my new hearing aid. I was told that the one I was supposed to get that took batteries, was not being made anymore. So I now have a rechargeable one. Very clever. It can be linked to my iPhone. Why would I want to do that? Yet to figure that out.
The charger itself also has rechargeable batteries in it, so if needed it donāt need to be plugged into the mains.
This is the best bit. I paid Ā£1,300 for the other one. I looked up this one and it is in the Ā£1,800 range. Result or what?
Usual Friday things. Lunch at Morrison with a bit of shopping, and dinner at my daughter later.

Good afternoon, itās sunny outside, warm inside. Still in my PJs recovering from good to bad to great again, yesterday lol!
Writing this, then going to get dress, got headache forming, will meditate to remedy that. Then time for tea, breakfast sandwiches for ne and daughter. The portable food.
Weekendās here. Next weekās looking good. Iāll have peace of mind of appliance saving electricity, more space in freezer portion thanks to no more ice built in. Pat in the back.

Im going to another Orchestral concert this evening at the Concert Hall, the music they will be playing is Hollywood Hits ,it will be a good end to the week .

Just booked a 4 night caravan stay for me and Holly. Only a few miles up the road but itās a break from neighbours, and a novelty having the bathroom close by, lol. Chosen a week when itās recycling bin collection, and I donāt need to put it out each time, so it can wait.
Paid on credit card for now.

Morning everyone, dull and drizzle here but forecast to brighten up later.
Just back from our rather damp walk but warming up now with a steaming cappuccino. I have bread proving in the kitchen for a wholemeal loaf and that is all that is on my agenda today as yet. We are expecting visitors for lunch tomorrow though, so no doubt Iāll be on cleaning duties later.

My daughter will be coming here soon to drag me out to the Saturday market at North Weald.

Good Saturday morning! Sitting in bed, daughter still asleep, kitty kat by my side, pondering if Iāve the energy or the want of going to grocery store today. Canāt make up my mind. 
Iād cancelled order ā¦ This morning received notification of insurance papers for item that wonāt be received now. Ruth! Will I have to contact them AGAIN for this?
Seriously, if we did our jobs like this weād get fired but I see so fā¦ many just get away with it all the time. Gosh what a mess this has become since the Pandemic. Someone will definitely get some bad karma lol lol lol!

We have visitors for lunch today, eldest son and family so we are doing a pork roast with all the trimmings and Rosemary has made a scrummy apricot frangipane tart for pud, yum yum, canāt waitā¦

Good morning all.
Well it is not to bad here. Got some sunshine but it did rain in the night.
I had an busy and interesting day yesterday. Went to the market at Northweald, I bought a coat. We then went to Croxton, which is not far from Northweald. That is the name of the farm that my daughters lot have bought. Whilst there a real live Spitfire flew over and was going to land at said airfield.
We then went out for lunch.
Today??? Just let it happen.

Itās wet & dull here so plans for working in the garden put on hold.
I guess weāll just do a bit of housework & settle down with a film this afternoon & a box of Tonyās birthday chocolates ā¦ Wet days arenāt all bad!!
